So lately I’ve been crushing on [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] really hard, and it’s a much more wearable name where I live compared to some of my other favourites (it’s not really common tho) but paired with my favourite boy name ([name_m]Archibald[/name_m] nn [name_m]Archie[/name_m]), I feel like I’m in need for a longer form.
I think [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] could works as a nickname for any M name. My personal choice would be either [name_f]Mariam[/name_f] or [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]! I don’t believe it needs a longer form, I think it stands well on its own (especially if you pair it with a fuller middle name) but I see what you mean about pairing it with [name_m]Archibald[/name_m].
I agree with above posters that [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] could work for just about any M name!
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_u]Madigan[/name_u] (gorgeous and so underused)
[name_f]Mirabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]
[name_f]Marianne[/name_f]
Would you consider using [name_f]May[/name_f] (my preferred spelling) or [name_f]Mae[/name_f] as the given name and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] as the nickname? I think this would work. [name_f]Mary[/name_f] or any of its variants are also possibilities.
My favourites are [name_f]Mae[/name_f] called [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] or [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] called [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], gorgeous choice by the way!
Thank you for all the suggestions! [name_f]May[/name_f] is actually my middle name but I don’t like it And I think next to [name_m]Archibald[/name_m], it’s just too short. Thank you though! I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]!
Oh boy… I’ve been wondering the same thing! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] but it’s just too short a full name to me. I’m a fan of [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], but I think its a bit of a stretch to take [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] from that. Maybe [name_u]Madison[/name_u]? I like what the pp said about giving her a name that starts with “[name_f]Mae[/name_f]” and a middle name that starts with an S or Z.
Otherwise (and this is a bold choice), The name [name_u]Mason[/name_u] could easily get away with the nn [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]. Maybe you could make it more girly with an i and y instead of an o (Maisyn). [name_m]Just[/name_m] a thought!
I love [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]. I agree that most M beginning names would work with [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] nn. I like the idea of [name_f]Marina[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Zoe[/name_f].
