[name]Celine[/name] - not a fan of this one. Makes me think of the singer. [name]Celeste[/name] is similar but I think works better with your others. I also think this ‘EST’ sounding end is more uplifting than the ‘EEN’ ending.

[name]Clare[/name] - I don’t have a strong feeling on this one either way. I think [name]Clare[/name] gets a bit lost next to some of your other choices.

[name]Cordelia[/name] - I like this one and think it could work for you. It’s literary and regal, which fits with your others.

[name]Delphine[/name] - Definitely interesting and you already have a Greek name in your set, so could be a nice addition.

[name]Edith[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Edie[/name] as a nn for a little girl. Also has a literary feel which works with your other names.

[name]Eleanor[/name] - I am generally a bit unmoved by this name.

[name]Eloise[/name] - This is a lovely name. Always make me think of little girls dancing for some reason! I think it is similar to [name]Eleanor[/name] but with a bit more wow factor.

[name]Estelle[/name] - I like this but prefer [name]Estella[/name] to [name]Estelle[/name]. [name]Estella[/name] is also has a strong literary tradition that fits with your set.

[name]Genevieve[/name] - This could work.

[name]Gwyneth[/name] - I am a fan of this name. I can’t really understand why it isn’t more popular. It definitely has a strong association with the actress but that won’t matter by the time your girls grow up.

[name]Hazel[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]. It is a hipster name but that doesn’t make it not lovely. i love the strong ‘Z’

Based on all that I’ve read I would say my favourites are:

[name]Edith[/name] - I [name]ADORE[/name] this name. I do not think it’s old lady like at all. I think it is a strong womens name, spunky and love the nickname [name]Edie[/name].

[name]Eleanor[/name] (I prefer [name]Eleanore[/name] myself - what can I say I love ‘e’ endings :slight_smile: )

I also thought [name]Eloise[/name] worked really well with your other daughters but I think you’ve taken it off the list now.

[name]Clare[/name] - yes, I think it works, but it is plainer.
[name]Cordelia[/name] - yes, could work, Celtic connection like one and long like another, but not my favorite for you.
[name]Delphine[/name] - no, same problem as [name]Celine[/name].
[name]Edith[/name] - yes, old lady chic like one, and sort of eclectic like them all.
[name]Eleanor[/name] - yes, I really like this one for you, old lady chic like one, popular with nn [name]Ellie[/name] like some of the others, clunky like one.
[name]Eloise[/name] - yes, similar reasons to [name]Eleanor[/name].
[name]Estelle[/name] - no, too far on the old lady side for me next to your others.
[name]Evangeline[/name] - yes, works, but not the best – too religious next to the others, but just on sound, it does work.

[name]Gwyneth[/name] - yes, I think it works, Celtic/Welsh connection and sort of a similar zone of familiarity.
[name]Hazel[/name] - yes, it works, although there are then sort of two color names.

[name]Imogene[/name] - no, I think it’s too out there but I also don’t really like it. [name]Imogen[/name] I would like and could work.

I don’t think [name]Edith[/name] is too old at all, and its style fits perfectly with [name]Alice[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name]. [name]Edie[/name] is also an amazing NN (one of the best!).

I have difficulty matching it with another name from your list though, [name]Edith[/name] and [name]Delphine[/name] would be great, but you’ve scratched it! [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Delphinia[/name], [name]Delphia[/name]? What about [name]Daphne[/name]? [name]Edith[/name] and [name]Daphne[/name] would make me fall off a chair I think :slight_smile:
