And yes, I really like my S names.
Also, does anyone know of a NN for [name]Edmund[/name] besides [name]Ed[/name] or [name]Eddie[/name]? My dads name is [name]Edward[/name] and he goes by both of those, and I wouldnt want my son to have the same name as my dad.

These are the ones I like:

[name]Asher[/name]
[name]Bryce[/name]
[name]Damian[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Ezekiel[/name]
[name]Ezra[/name]
[name]Isaiah[/name]
[name]Luca[/name] (prefer using it as a nn for [name]Lucas[/name] though)
[name]Malachi[/name]
[name]Rhys[/name]
[name]Ronan[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name]
[name]Silas[/name]
[name]Soren[/name]
[name]Tristan[/name]

My suggestions are:

[name]Gideon[/name] [name]Caius[/name] - [name]Gideon[/name] is unique. It’s spelled the way it sounds. Together, it means: “Great warrior of the [name]Earth[/name].”
[name]Asher[/name] [name]Leon[/name] - Hehe, “The [name]Happy[/name]/Blessed [name]Lion[/name]”
[name]How[/name] about [name]Teagan[/name] Soraian - “[name]Little[/name] poet of the [name]Sky[/name]?”
[name]Evander[/name] [name]Rhys[/name] - “Good, fiery man” implies one who may have a very outspoken character or is an active person.
[name]Damien[/name] [name]Blaze[/name] - “[name]One[/name] who tames the flame”

Thanks! I really like [name]Gideon[/name] [name]Caius[/name], [name]Asher[/name] [name]Leon[/name] and [name]Damian[/name] [name]Blaze[/name]. [name]Teagan[/name] [name]Sora[/name] is also cute, but I think those two together might make people think its a girl name.

I really like [name]Edmund[/name], and [name]Ned[/name] is a good nickname for it.

These are my favorites from your list:

[name]Asher[/name]
[name]Evander[/name]
[name]Ezra[/name]
[name]Gideon[/name]
[name]Julius[/name]
[name]Micah[/name]
[name]Niko[/name]
[name]Rhys[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name]
[name]Silas[/name]

[name]Atticus[/name], [name]Asher[/name], [name]Ciaran[/name] (Depending on where you live, the Anglicized version might be better and it’s just as nice ([name]Kieran[/name]) ), [name]Edmund[/name], [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Gideon[/name], [name]Leander[/name], [name]Luca[/name], [name]Leon[/name], [name]Nico[/name] (I like it more spelled with a c), [name]Rhys[/name], [name]Ronan[/name], [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Silas[/name], [name]Soren[/name], [name]Tristan[/name]

Some thoughts on those that didn’t make the cut…

Avan would spend his whole life correcting people who call him “[name]Evan[/name]”, IMHO.
[name]Cassius[/name] looks cool, but if meaning is important to you I’m not sure why this would make the list!
[name]Cohen[/name] should not be used a first name. I find it offensive. Illegal Baby Names Banned Around the World | Nameberry
Like another person said, [name]Rowan[/name], [name]Bowen[/name], [name]Owen[/name] and [name]Conan[/name] can be used if you like the sound.
[name]Emery[/name] is nice, but I think it’s starting to go to the girls (same with [name]Taylor[/name] and [name]Teagan[/name])… such a shame :frowning: (Brother [name]Emerson[/name] still sounds very masculine to me)
[name]Harlan[/name] makes me think of [name]Harlem[/name], NY.
[name]Sasha[/name] wouldn’t work well for a boy in the U.S. without [name]Alexander[/name] as back up, IMHO.

Good luck!

P.S. [name]Ted[/name], [name]Teddy[/name], and [name]Ned[/name] can be nicknames for [name]Edmund[/name]!

I really like a lot of your choices, but these are my favourites/names I personally would use:

[name]Asher[/name] - Hebrew; Blessed, [name]Happy[/name]

[name]Caius[/name] - Latin; [name]Person[/name] of [name]Earth[/name]

[name]Caspian[/name] - English; From the [name]Caspian[/name] Sea

[name]Edmund[/name] - English; Prosperous protection

[name]Emery[/name] - English; Work Ruler

[name]Evander[/name] - Greek; Good man

[name]Ezekiel[/name] - Hebrew; God will strenghen

[name]Gabriel[/name] - Hebrew; God is my strength

[name]Gideon[/name] - Hebrew; Great Warrior

[name]Julius[/name] - Latin; Youthful

[name]Leander[/name] - Greek; [name]Lion[/name] man

[name]Phineas[/name] - Hebrew; Nubian

[name]Ronan[/name] - Irish; [name]Little[/name] seal

[name]Rowan[/name] - English; From the [name]Rowan[/name] tree

[name]Sasha[/name] - Russian; Diminutive form of [name]Alexander[/name]

[name]Soren[/name] - Scandinavian; Severe

[name]Tristan[/name] - Welsh; Tumult

My favourite combo
[name]Ronan[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name]

In terms of NN for [name]Edmund[/name] possibilities include [name]Ed[/name], [name]Eddie[/name], [name]Ned[/name], [name]Ted[/name], [name]Teddy[/name].

Aha, I understand what you mean about [name]Teagan[/name] [name]Sora[/name].

[name]Do[/name] you know of the name “[name]Eamon[/name]?” It’s similar to [name]Teagan[/name] only it means “rich protector.” It’s in the same department of masculinity as [name]Aiden[/name]. I suppose [name]Eamon[/name] looks more masculine than [name]Teagan[/name] when read.

And I’m rooting for [name]Gideon[/name].

Thanks for the input. Meaning means more to the BF than it does to me. I just REALLY like the way [name]Cassius[/name] sounds.

I didnt know that about [name]Cohen[/name]. I’ve heard it as a first name before and just liked it.

And [name]Sasha[/name], I know its mostly a girl name in the US, but I have seen more and more boys being named that here. And my BFs name is [name]Alexander[/name], so it would be related to his name. I think its cute.
