With [name]Luther[/name], I would avoid names with the same initial ([name]Lacie[/name]) and common word names ([name]Raven[/name]). [name]Luther[/name] has a vintage feel so I like [name]Alice[/name] the best with his name. [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Nora[/name] would work as well.
I don’t mind if my children share the same initial as long as the names sound different enough. I see what you are saying about the vintage names though.
Im so sorry for your loss. [name]Genevieve[/name], [name]Norah[/name], [name]Gwendolyn[/name], and [name]Caroline[/name] are all great. The rest just don do anything for me.
My heart goes out to you. I voted for [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Gwendolyn[/name], and [name]Norah[/name] because they are all fairly commonly known but still a bit unusual (in a good way!), which is how I see [name]Luther[/name], so I think these would make a great sibset. The ones I would cross off the list (if it were mine) would be [name]Raven[/name] and [name]Freya[/name] because they are too out there (when compared to [name]Luther[/name]) and [name]Darcy[/name] and [name]Alice[/name] (despite my [name]LOVE[/name] for the name [name]Alice[/name]) because they just seem kind of blah next to the strong, handsome [name]Luther[/name]. Actually, I think [name]Genevieve[/name] would also make a great sister for [name]Luther[/name]. I skipped over that one when voting for some reason, so add another vote in for that one. Good luck!
Thanks so much for the votes! It is fun getting other people’s thoughts and perspectives. I agree with [name]Raven[/name] and [name]Freja[/name] seem a little odd with [name]Luther[/name].
Thanks LoriJohnson for the suggestions. I really like [name]Adele[/name], [name]Cornelia[/name] and [name]Wilhelmina[/name]! I actually like [name]Wilhelm[/name] for a boy, and [name]Henry[/name] as well. I might be able to get hubby on board for [name]Wilhelmina[/name] and [name]Adele[/name]. I doubt I could get him on board for [name]Cornelia[/name], because he doesn’t really care for [name]Cordelia[/name] either.
