Looking ahead to baby number three

My husband and I have two children, a daughter named [name_f]Averie[/name_f] and a son named [name_u]Owen[/name_u]. I have started to think about names for baby number three. Boy names are fairly easy for us. We agreed on [name_u]Owen[/name_u]'s name almost immediately. If baby three is a boy, he will be [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Miles[/name_m], or [name_m]William[/name_m] (called [name_m]Will[/name_m]). [name_u]Baby[/name_u] girl names are a little harder for us. We had a very difficult time choosing our first daughter [name_f]Averie[/name_f]'s name. My typical style is more vintage and old fashioned while my husband leans toward trendier unisex names for girls. Although we both love [name_f]Averie[/name_f], it was chosen after a lot of compromise (on both sides.) Here are the names I like for baby three if it is a girl: [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] (or [name_f]Lilah[/name_f]), [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. It is up to me this time. My hubby has agreed to allow me to choose. Which girl names do you think fit best with the names of our other children? Thanks

[name_f]Averie[/name_f] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u] sound perfect together in a sibset! I love both names. The -ie ending of [name_f]Averie[/name_f] makes it so much more sweet!
I think [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] (I prefer [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]) goes great with [name_f]Averie[/name_f] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u]! I also like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] with [name_f]Averie[/name_f] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u].

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f]
[name_f]Emeline[/name_f]
[name_u]Madison[/name_u]

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] some of these interest you!

I’m liking [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] from your options!

I really like [name_f]Ella[/name_f]!
I love how [name_f]Averie[/name_f], [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f] sound together

[name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Averie[/name_f] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u] is best. Sounds perfect!

With [name_f]Averie[/name_f] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u], I like [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] comes to mind.

Another vote for [name_f]Ella[/name_f].

Thank you! I loved your suggestions! Someone added [name_f]Emeline[/name_f] which I think is really cute! I also think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is adorable! I think I am going to go with the popular choice and choose [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. I really love how it sounds with [name_f]Averie[/name_f] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u]! It might be because they all begin with vowels. [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_f]Averie[/name_f], and [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. Perfect!

Hello again! I originally posted about baby name ideas for a little sister or brother for our daughter, [name_f]Averie[/name_f], and our son [name_u]Owen[/name_u]. I think I have pretty much decided on [name_m]Jack[/name_m] for a boy. I just really love it and I think it sounds great with our other children’s names. I thought I had decided on [name_f]Ella[/name_f] for a girl, and it is still a really strong contender, but I have two more options to add to the mix. I have recently started to really love [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. I also adore [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] which is a family name. So, what do you think? [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], or [name_f]Elise[/name_f]? Thanks!

I think [name_f]Clara[/name_f] goes really well with the sibset, but my favorites from your list are [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f], both of which would also work.

I like [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] and [name_f]Elise[/name_f] over [name_f]Ella[/name_f].

I like @teenberry’s suggestion of [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]. I think that would be lovely. A different take on a popular name.

If you dislike popularity names, then I would steer away from [name_f]Ella[/name_f] - I deal with children all the time, and there are [name_f]Ella[/name_f]'s EVERYWHERE! (but this may not be an issue for you).

From your list, I love… [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], [name_f]Averie[/name_f], and [name_u]Owen[/name_u] or [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Averie[/name_f], and [name_u]Owen[/name_u]

With your other children’s names, I think that [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] or [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] would be the best fit.

[name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Clara[/name_f], I think [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Averie[/name_f] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u] sound beautiful together, [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is another one, but I think [name_f]Clara[/name_f] would by my first choice
