My husband and I aren’t expecting a baby at the moment but I always like looking on baby name sites anyways. He has a family tradition that he wants to continue where the father’s and sons have the same initals. His Father’s name is [name]John[/name] and his name is [name]Jesse[/name], so I need another J name, because it’s likely well have a boy one day. He likes the name [name]Jack[/name] because he thinks it sounds strong and manly. I like it too but I feel it’s much too popular, so I want something more uncommon but still manly. The initials of both his father and he are JDAH. I was thinking [name]Dawson[/name] and [name]Alexander[/name] for the middle names but I haven’t really found a first name that begins with J that I really like. Any suggestions?

I did like [name]James[/name] a while back but was worried about it being to popular, however it seems to have lost some of it’s popularity. [name]Jameson[/name] is good but I agree it doesn’t work so well with [name]Dawson[/name] as a middle name. I was considering [name]Jace[/name], not short for [name]Jason[/name] though, I know a [name]Jason[/name] and do not like him. [name]Jacob[/name] and [name]Jasper[/name] have become popular because of Twlight :s which is unfortunate as I do like the name [name]Jacob[/name]. Not a big fan of [name]Jethro[/name], I think it’s something about the sound of it. My best friends last name is [name]Jones[/name], so it’s always been a surname to me. I know a few [name]Justins[/name], none of which I like, so it ruins the name for me. I also have a friend named [name]Jerome[/name].

@ferntailwp, I really couldn’t say why I like the name [name]Dawson[/name], I guess it is just the sound, and it makes me think of [name]Leonardo[/name] Dicaprio in Titanic haha I always loved him as a teenager.
