[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is also the name of [name_m]Harry[/name_m]'s daughter from the [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] epilogue. I know you didn’t ask about those names specifically, but I thought I’d point it out just in case.

To the point, for [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], off the top of my head, there’s [name_f]Lina[/name_f], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], [name_u]Lisa[/name_u], and [name_f]Ellin[/name_f].
Some of those might be a stretch, but I hope this helps!

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is so cute.

Mashup for [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]: Elca (like [name_f]Elke[/name_f]), [name_f]Sarine[/name_f], [name_f]Ela[/name_f]…

@vestigesofsummer - I am a huge fan of [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] and didn’t see the connection till you pointed it out, lol! She’s such a minor character that if I didn’t catch it till now, I don’t think very many will…

I should also clarify we aren’t looking for something specifically tied to [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. We are looking for other middle options. Like my husband kidded with [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] so her nickname could be Elbo… which is obviously a no, lol!

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] “Lilu” is super cute! I think [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] “[name_u]Echo[/name_u]” would be perfect! [name_u]Echo[/name_u] is more of a stretch than Lilu is as a nickname, but it has the sci-fi element of Lilu and (in my opinion) is an absolute gorgeous name on it’s own. I’d name a daughter [name_u]Echo[/name_u] without hesitation. Lilu and [name_u]Echo[/name_u] could totally be sisters!

Ooh I second [name_u]Echo[/name_u]! Great idea!

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] paired with a “V” staring middle name could be nn [name_f]Elvie[/name_f].

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]/[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]

Same with a “F” mn for nn [name_f]Elfie[/name_f] or [name_f]Effie[/name_f].

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]

Nn Elpha:

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Phyllis[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Phelia[/name_f]

Nn [name_f]Elda[/name_f]:

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_u]Dana[/name_u]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]

Nn [name_f]Elin[/name_f]:

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]India[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_u]Indigo[/name_u]

Or [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] could be the nn with another “el” fn and “sa” starting mn.

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Sasha[/name_u]
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_f]Elyse[/name_f] [name_f]Sarafina[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]

Thanks guys! I like [name_u]Echo[/name_u], but my husband thinks it’s more of a cool “gamer tag” (in his words). I love the idea of [name_f]Elfie[/name_f]/Elphie and [name_f]Elvie[/name_f]! I’ll have to check with him on those. It’ll be a matter of finding a middle name he likes that begins with those sounds too.

I like [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] or [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u] nn [name_f]Edie[/name_f] (playing more of the initials)

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_u]Linden[/name_u] nn [name_f]Elin[/name_f] (EE-lin)

What about O middle names to have the nickname Ello? I tend to like near alliteration names but I know its not for everyone.

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]…
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Odelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Odette[/name_f]
Olwyn
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
Ottilie

Unfortunately my husband still only likes [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], so I guess we will just stick with that for him. Thanks for all the suggestions though, maybe one of them will grown on him in time!

[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]'s daughter was immediately the first thing I thought when I saw [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. I think that because it’s such popular series, people would make that connection at first glance (especially with the new screenplay addition to the series about [name_m]Harry[/name_m]'s kids).
I love [name_f]Elin[/name_f] and Elphie though! Those are my favourite mashups.

My husband and I aren’t concerned since she was such a vague character. Her middle name isn’t even mentioned in the epilogue, but something that JK Rowling mentioned outside the story. It’s also not mentioned in the screenplay as I just finished reading it! [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is hardly mentioned at all. The focus is mainly on [name_m]Albus[/name_m] and Scorpius, but [name_f]Rose[/name_f] also got a decent amount of screen time. (I am a huge HP fan! - but I guess not huge enough since I missed the connection when my husband came up with the combo lol).

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] was one of the main characters in Frozen and that’s what bugs my husband more about the name, which is why he would like to call her [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. The Disney connection is stronger than the [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] one in his opinion, and I kind of have to agree with that, but it doesn’t bother me since I am also a huge Disney fan!

I’ve been looking at this thread thinking I can’t come up with new suggestions for you, but I just realised you could use Elska
The sound is already there with [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], but you could use [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] to emphasise the connection.
Elska is gorgeous, it’s Norwegian or Old Norse for “love”, and it’s a Slavic pet form of [name_f]Elsa[/name_f].
It also sounds more sci-fi than Elphie :stuck_out_tongue:

I know a girl named [name_f]Elske[/name_f] which means ‘‘love’’ in Frisian. I’ve always admired it.

I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f], it’s so pretty.
