I have always loved the name [name_f]Ansley[/name_f], but I find that I dislike all other variations of this name. I do not like [name_f]Kinsley[/name_f], McKinely, [name_f]Tenley[/name_f], Ensley, Eisley. I think [name_u]Everly[/name_u] is okay, but not in love with it. The fact that I like [name_f]Ansley[/name_f] so much, but dislike the “sister names” makes me question my love. LOL
Other names I love:
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f] --> I love this name, but hate that everyone will say [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] --> So pretty, but so overdone
[name_f]Ava[/name_f] --> Same as above
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] --> My husband’s fraternity brother has a daughter this name, but I still like it
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] --> I like it, but our last name starts with T
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] --> Like but feels dated
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] nn [name_f]Bella[/name_f] --> like but feels dated
[name_u]Whitney[/name_u] --> feels dated
What about these names? There are less likely to be 4 of them in her pre-school class (though I love [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] with an “i” in it). I like [name_u]Everly[/name_u] but it is getting popular.
I really don’t like the sister names of [name_f]Ansley[/name_f] either, but [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] is probably my favorite from them. [name_f]Wrenley[/name_f] could possibly be a more modern take on [name_u]Whitney[/name_u]. With [name_f]Ansley[/name_f], I really like either [name_u]Blakeley[/name_u], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Elaina[/name_f], [name_f]Melanie[/name_f], and [name_u]Paisley[/name_u].
I went to high school with an [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] I love the name. I would use it if you really love it. You don’t have to like all of the LEY ending names to be in love with one of them.
What about [name_f]Aislin[/name_f]/[name_f]Aisling[/name_f]? (Pronounced: [name_u]ASH[/name_u]-lynn/[name_u]ASH[/name_u]-leen/[name_u]ASH[/name_u]-ling)
From your list my favorites are [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. What about [name_f]Eve[/name_f] or [name_f]Eva[/name_f]? [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]? I think dropping the ‘[name_f]Bella[/name_f]’ makes it feel a little fresher.
Not a fan of [name_f]Ansley[/name_f] or [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] or all the associated names you mentioned. From your list I like [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] (love that spelling much better than [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]!), [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] will work with a T last name…just thinking [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_m]Thompson[/name_m], [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_m]Tucker[/name_m], [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] Timpano, etc…they flow nicely.
