Of these four in the poll, [name_f]Romee[/name_f] is the clear winner to me. But I actually think you already nixed the name you’re looking for: [name_u]Alma[/name_u].
I voted for [name_f]Colette[/name_f] but I like [name_u]Alma[/name_u] even more.
I’d also suggest [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_u]Alva[/name_u], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], Louna/Luna, [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_f]Astrid[/name_f].
We did consider Cleo, but I think I don’t love it enough for one of my children. I prefer the French pronunciation (clay-o) because Clio is a common car brand.
Flora is too close to my name and Sylvie is my aunt’s name. I have thousands of students named Luna/Louna/Lola/Lou Ann/Loan, so no My husband likes Astrid, I think I would prefer Aster
Thank you!
Don’t give up on Brune! I’m in the minority but I love Brune for you. It would be unfamiliar to most and I think that generally leads to two initial reactions 1) feeling unenthused or 2) feeling intrigued. I do think the more people hear the name, the more they’ll appreciate its charm. That said, it’s only your opinion that matters.
Side note, while I think Liv and Colette is fabulous, I don’t love the similarities between Elliott and Colette.
