Now that we are stuck between [name_f]Roxana[/name_f] and [name_f]India[/name_f], we are probably going to keep both names and wait to meet our daughter to decide on one or the other. [name_f]India[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is the combo we have had for a while, and we love it.
Our struggle is to pair [name_f]Roxana[/name_f] with a middle name that fits her and also can follow my family tradition of virtue names. I wouldn’t want to repeat the names previous generations have used, which include [name_f]Gloria[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Hope[/name_f], [name_f]Faith[/name_f], [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_u]True[/name_u] and my sisters’ names [name_f]Honor[/name_f] and [name_f]Charity[/name_f].
That leaves us with virtues that we aren’t keen on or that make the name [name_f]Roxana[/name_f] + middle name too long such as [name_f]Constance[/name_f], [name_f]Temperance[/name_f], [name_f]Patience[/name_f] and [name_f]Prudence[/name_f].
We do like these: [name_u]Love[/name_u] (a little cheesy, but doable as a middle name), [name_f]Mercy[/name_f], [name_u]Peace[/name_u] and [name_f]Amity[/name_f] (since we ruled out [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] because of a terrible, violent tragedy, we’re probably going to avoid [name_f]Amity[/name_f] for the same reasons).
[name_f]Roxana[/name_f] [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] is gorgeous. I also like [name_f]Roxana[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] and [name_f]Roxana[/name_f] [name_u]Peace[/name_u]. What about [name_f]Roxana[/name_f] [name_f]Verity[/name_f]?
[name_f]Roxana[/name_f] could go with most virtue names I think.

Since we have family named [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Faith[/name_f] and [name_f]Gloria[/name_f], we are going to avoid those. Our sons’ names are [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] [name_u]Justice[/name_u] and [name_m]Mateo[/name_m] [name_m]Bravery[/name_m] so those virtues are also out of the list.
I was musing about the possibility of Empathy being used as a virtue name today. [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f] Empathy is a pretty cool name! I also like [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] and [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f] Deliverance. [name_m]Just[/name_m] about anything will sound fantastic with [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f], so I’d say pick a virtue that is special to you and that you wish for your daughter and use it
so those virtues are also out of the list.
