Looking for an alternative to Hadley...

I had my heart set on the name [name]Hadley[/name] for years, but my husband feels it’s getting too trendy and has nixed it and anything else ending in -ley.

Some thoughts I’ve had as alternatives: [name]Annabel[/name], [name]Campbell[/name], [name]Lucinda[/name], [name]Barrett[/name], [name]Quincy[/name], [name]Adair[/name]

I can’t get really excited about any of them (or so far, anything else for that matter) and would love some suggestions!! I don’t want anything trendy. I like classic, strong, elegant names, but nothing too frilly/feminine.

Our last name starts with a B and has one syllable, so we’ve nixed all one syllable first names.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

[name]Hadley[/name] actually means “field of heather” Why not [name]Heather[/name]? I know its very 70s/80s but I think it is still a great name.

[name]Aimee[/name]

Hmmm…I think too 80’s, but thanks so much for the thought!
