Looking for feedback—Louisa, Eloise, or Beatrix?

I’m due in a couple months with our first baby, a girl. My husband and I have spent hours narrowing down baby names, and we’ve finally got our list down to three: [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Lula[/name_f] or [name_u]Lou[/name_u]), [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]), or [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Allison[/name_u] (nn [name_f]Bea[/name_f]).

[name_f]Mae[/name_f] is a family name, as well as the Thai word for river (we lived in Thailand for a while). [name_u]Allison[/name_u] is my maiden name, so obviously that name is special to me as well.

I’d appreciate some opinions on our three options  thanks!

[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is darling! Definitely my favorite. [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is also lovely, but I am personally not a huge fan of [name_u]Eloise[/name_u].

I love [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. However [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] reminds me of [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Alcott[/name_u], the author of little women. Its certainly not off putting but it’s just a thought. I do prefer the flow of [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] better than [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], though. I am personally not a fan of [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], and I’m not keen on the flow of [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Allison[/name_u].

My favorite is [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f], followed by [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f].

[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]! [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is such a lovely nickname, and the combo feels happy and spunky

I’ve never been a fan of the name [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. I love the nn [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], but I just can’t make myself like [name_u]Eloise[/name_u].

[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] are stunning though. I think I’d probably go for [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] of the two, but both names are great.

All three are really nice, but I’m torn between [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Allison[/name_u]. I’m not a huge fan of [name_u]Allison[/name_u], but I like the meaning it holds for you (and I do love [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]).

What about [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_u]Allison[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]?
This wouldn’t distract people with the [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Alcott[/name_u] reference.
My daughter has two middle names (including my maiden name) and thought this was quite special growing up. [name_m]Even[/name_m] now - as an adult - she’s chosen to include her two middle initials in her signature.

[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_u]Allison[/name_u] would definitely be my favourite. Personally I’m not a fan of how [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] sound, whereas [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is a long standing favourite. Both [name_f]Lula[/name_f]/[name_u]Lou[/name_u] and [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] are great, but [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] in full as well as [name_f]Bea[/name_f] is awesome! I think [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] would be perfect if that’s an option.

I like [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]

Thanks to everyone who’s responded! You all have given us some great feedback, and we really appreciate it!

For me it’s [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] followed by [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. If it were [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] that would be 1# for me as I find the trix part very harsh for such an attractive name - but that is just my humble opinion and you guys really can’t go wrong with such a beautiful selection of names.

I love the nn [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] but overall I prefer [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]!

[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is my favourite!

[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] all the way!
