We are due in [name_f]October[/name_f], and want to have the name decided when we learn the gender in [name_u]June[/name_u]. So far we like the name [name_u]Riley[/name_u] if it’s a girl with the middle name of either [name_u]Jean[/name_u] or [name_f]Viola[/name_f]. Curious which name people like better.
If it’s a boy we like the names [name_m]Ryder[/name_m] or [name_m]Colton[/name_m], with the middle name [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_u]Lee[/name_u] or [name_m]Earl[/name_m].
As for boy names we are also open for suggestions, but for a girl [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is pretty much set.
For reference the last name is [name_m]Belcher[/name_m]… looking forward to the input, and thank you in advance.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Riley[/name_u] for a girl - though I prefer the [name_u]Rylee[/name_u] spelling I think [name_m]Colton[/name_m] sounds better with your last name; [name_m]Ryder[/name_m] and [name_m]Belcher[/name_m] both end with that -er sound that might be too repetitive. Any of the middle names sound great, but [name_m]Colton[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] is my favorite.
For girls I prefer [name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] to [name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Viola[/name_f].
I actually like [name_u]Riley[/name_u] a lot for a boy as well. And I think [name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] is darling.
If you want to save [name_u]Riley[/name_u] for a future daughter I probably wouldn’t use [name_m]Ryder[/name_m]. I think [name_u]Riley[/name_u] and [name_m]Ryder[/name_m] would sound too matchy as siblings. And I think [name_m]Colton[/name_m] is a great option. For [name_m]Colton[/name_m] I would probably go with [name_m]Colton[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_m]Colton[/name_m] [name_u]Lee[/name_u].
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is very cute. I like [name_f]Viola[/name_f], but not sure how well it flows with [name_u]Riley[/name_u]. [name_f]Viola[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] would be great too (I do see you’re set on [name_u]Riley[/name_u], but just had to say it).
For a boy, I would go with [name_m]Colton[/name_m], I think it flows better with your last name. [name_m]Ryder[/name_m] [name_m]Belcher[/name_m]- is a bit repetitive. [name_m]Colton[/name_m] works with all three middles I think. Can’t go wrong with [name_u]James[/name_u] though.
Maybe you would like [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] or [name_m]Erik[/name_m] for a boy? If not, maybe [name_u]James[/name_u] as first name? Otherwise, [name_m]Colton[/name_m] flows the best.
