[name_f]My[/name_f] lead is a male in his early-30s, and he’s the dark quiet type. He also has a psychic power and can read minds, so I want him to have a name that is kind of mysterious and uncommon. Here are my ideas so far.
Dare/Daire-I like that it’s unique, but it also makes me think of a teen bully Singes(Synges)-Yeah, like as in burn marks. I know it’s unusual for a name, but I’ve been listening to a song with this word in it and it’s kind of beautiful. But also has a darkness to it. Kite-Watched a TV show with a character with this name years ago and always felt it should be used more [name_m]Lazarus[/name_m]-Too biblical?? Also doesn’t really have any good nicknames [name_u]Henry[/name_u]-It’s one of my favorite names but it doesn’t feel ‘mysterious’ enough for my character.

I’m a fan of Irish names so I really like [name_u]Darragh[/name_u]. [name_m]Laszlo[/name_m], [name_m]Anselm[/name_m], and [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] are pretty good too.
Ooo I really like [name_u]Vale[/name_u], but it also is a bit vampire-y. I actually recently met a man called [name_m]Ransom[/name_m] and I’d never hear that name before.
I really like [name_m]Hadrian[/name_m] (means dark-haired) for a character like this!
