Hi, I recently found out I was expecting a second daughter. But I just cannot find a name that I really truly like. Her older sister is Evangeline Marie nn Evie (Eh-v-ee) and I really like that because of the long first name with a shorter nickname and short middle name but I really can’t find another name like it. Here are the names I currently have…

Esmeralda Cove nn Esme
Gwendolyn Mary nn Gwen

Evangeline Marie is beautiful such a wonderful name. I also love the nickname Evie! No wonder you’re struggling to find a name just as perfect you really out did yourself.
My thoughts on your list
Charlotte Eden ~ Charlotte is a lovely classic name that has that easy nickname as well. However I do feel Charlotte gets massively out sparkled by Evangeline. Eden is a lovely unexpected middle name.
Esmeralda Cove ~ oh my gosh I absolutely love seeing Esmeralda being used she’s so stunning the ultimate European princess name. Cove makes a fantastic middle name. My concern is could you be pigeonholed into a theme of just using ‘e’ names when it comes to potential future kiddos.
Gwendolyn Mary ~ I love Gwendolyn she’s elegant, whimsical and makes a wonderful sister for Evangeline. I also love Mary as Gwendolyn’s middle name.
Lilibeth Lucy ~ I think Lilibeth is sweet but could be mistaken for Lilibet and feels very Harry + Meghan. I would prefer Liliana. I think Liliana works wonders with Evangeline. Not keen on the name Lucy but that’s just personal preference.

I think you’ve crafted some gem names there, definitely keep on list. Might be too close to them, but they’re lovely or at least elements are (eg Cove, Esme as a nn, Lucy for middle - Mary prob too close to Marie? I love Mary so if can keep in the second spot as a nice tie between the names that could be great! I agree with above re Charlotte being somewhat overshadowed and the Royal trendiness of Lilibeth). But let’s see, how about:

That was my main concern with [name_f]Esmerelda[/name_f] it was the E & E thing. But my other problem is my name also begins with an E so more names beginning with E. I love [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] but now that I look at it [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] would always out shine the name [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] due to it being common as well. But I think if we where to name her [name_f]Esmerelda[/name_f] she would probably end up being nicknamed [name_u]Mai[/name_u] cause that would help with the problem with the E. Also definitely the last kiddo beginning with E hoping that this will be our last girl (hoping for a boy) and I don’t like boys names beginning with E. thank you so much though the names are gorgeous
