Hello! We are just looking for some help narrowing down our list of boy names for our the birth of our first in [name_f]May[/name_f]. The husband and I have been having some trouble agreeing, and I figured this could be a good space to get some opinions from non family members.
The cadence of the name is important to my husband as well.

[name_u]Ellis[/name_u] is my favorite but [name_u]Neil[/name_u] and [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] also sound nice with your last name.

My favourite is probably [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] out of those. I like [name_m]Luke[/name_m], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], and [name_m]Harris[/name_m] too (though would prefer [name_m]Harrison[/name_m].)

Your list is phenomenal. So many great names. [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] I think is my favorite, it sounds so sophisticated with your last name. [name_u]Neil[/name_u], [name_m]Gordon[/name_m], [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] and [name_m]Harris[/name_m] are my other favorites. Good luck.

Taking cadence and flow into consideration, I think [name_m]Asher[/name_m] sounds the best with your last name. I also like [name_m]Ethan[/name_m], [name_u]Logan[/name_u], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].

[name_m]Gordon[/name_m], [name_m]Luke[/name_m], [name_u]Neil[/name_u], and [name_m]Cole[/name_m] also are fine with cadence, though they’re not my favorites with your last name.

I feel like [name_m]Ansel[/name_m], [name_u]Ellis[/name_u], and [name_u]Alden[/name_u] are a bit too similar sounding to your last name, and [name_m]Harris[/name_m], [name_u]Glenn[/name_u], and Marle (for me at least) runs into your last name.

[name_m]Torin[/name_m] is the standout for me. There are 3 I dislike with any surname: [name_m]Asher[/name_m], [name_m]Ethan[/name_m], Marle. Some I don’t like the flow with your surname even if I like the name: [name_m]Ansel[/name_m], [name_u]Ellis[/name_u], [name_u]Glenn[/name_u], [name_u]Alden[/name_u], [name_u]Logan[/name_u], [name_m]Arthur[/name_m].
