We’re getting ready to name our baby boy and can’t decide which one we like better.

[name_f]Sister[/name_f]'s name is [name_f]Gia[/name_f] [name_u]Joan[/name_u]. Middle name for baby boy is my husband’s grandfather’s name (pronounced It-a-LOW).

Contenders:
[name_m]Eli[/name_m] [name_m]Italo[/name_m]
[name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Italo[/name_m]

With the middle name I think I prefer [name_m]Eli[/name_m], especially because it’s short like [name_f]Gia[/name_f].

Thoughts and other suggestions welcome

I also prefer [name_m]Eli[/name_m] and [name_f]Gia[/name_f] together, but I like the flow of [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Italo[/name_m] better.

I agree with @eoxima. But I’d ultimately go with [name_m]Eli[/name_m] I think - it’s not at all bad with the mn [name_m]Italo[/name_m] and how often is a combo used in full anyway? Both lovely names, by the way!

What about [name_u]Elias[/name_u] or [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] [name_m]Italo[/name_m]? I think these work better with the mn-- but [name_m]Eli[/name_m] is cute!

The flow of the first and middle name together is not that important. Which name sounds best with your surname?

I prefer [name_m]Eli[/name_m] over [name_u]Noah[/name_u].

[name_m]Eli[/name_m] by a mile!
