I’m expecting my first baby (due [name_f]October[/name_f] 23). My partner and I just recently moved and it’s been a little tough so far. She’s working full-time and I’m off for the summer since I don’t start my new teaching job until mid-[name_u]August[/name_u]. It’s been a bit lonely since I haven’t made any new friends yet and we moved away from both of our families, so I thought I’d join this website to connect with some other mommas.

Are you planning on going back to work FT in [name_u]August[/name_u]? What are your plans once baby arrives? And also where do you live? I thought I was going to go back to work full time once my first was born but didn’t. Took me a year but I joined a local Moms Club and it’s changed our lives. We have plans with moms and kids the same age multiple times a week and it’s really been and awesome experience. Moms Club is really geared toward stay home or partly stay home parents who can attend daytime functions. You should see if there is a club in your area. (It’s a US thing mostly but might have some chapters internationally).
