Looking for suggestions with twins!

I’m due in [name_f]May[/name_f] and haven’t completely decided on our daughter’s name. We’re expecting twins, so I’d really like the names to compliment each other a bit, although it’s not hugely important to me. Our last name also ends with an “eye-der” sound, so some names sound a bit wonky with it. Our current shortlist is:

[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] (my favorite, but I also love [name_f]Callisto[/name_f] and just [name_f]Calla[/name_f] w/ nn either [name_u]Cal[/name_u] or [name_f]Calli[/name_f])
[name_f]Amara[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_u]Sierra[/name_u]
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f] (DH’s fave - nn [name_u]Jet[/name_u])

And if it helps, our boy shortlist right now is [name_u]Orion[/name_u], [name_u]Luca[/name_u], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], and [name_u]August[/name_u]/us.

But I’m really looking for more similar suggestions or even just opinions!

I actually really like [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] together. They’re complementary without being matchy or cutesy. Individually, both names age well and suit a variety of personalities. [name_u]Cal[/name_u] and [name_u]Jet[/name_u] is pretty cute too.

Edited: Sorry I just saw your other post, are they boy/girl twins? In that case I would probably do these pairs;

Calliope & Orion (Cal/Ori)
Felicity or Juliette & Augustus

Wow! its really very interesting and nice names are included in this blog.it include names are very traditional and new generations name.i am very happy to visit this site.thanku so much for including this blog.

Well, we’re mostly certain they’re boy/girl twins! One has been very stubborn thusfar but right now we’re assuming boy. If they do end up being girl/girl though, I think [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] would definitely be the winners.

And ooh, those are all great names! Definitely going to run them by DH and see what he thinks. Thanks!!!

I love [name_f]Calliope[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. For some reason I just don’t warm to the [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] spelling. I love the understated elegance of the classic [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. Any 2 of these would be lovely as twin girls.

They would also go well with [name_u]August[/name_u] (love this) or [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m].

[name_f]Georgette[/name_f]

[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudette[/name_f]

I love the names you’re chosen! But here are a few more names:

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Elle[/name_f]
Cotessa
[name_f]Priscilla[/name_f]
[name_f]Marie[/name_f]

Best of luck!

Congrats on the twins! You have fantastic taste in names.

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]! I also like [name_f]Callisto[/name_f] a lot, but I can’t help but associate it with the villain from [name_f]Xena[/name_f], haha. Still a great name though, and she’s actually a pretty cool character in the show anyway.

I also love [name_f]Amara[/name_f], [name_u]Sierra[/name_u], and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. All great choices here. I think [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] are the most stunning as a girl/girl twin pair though. Makes me smile just imagining it!

For the boy’s list, they’re all fabulous but I have a particular affinity for [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. Fave pairings for a boy/girl pairing would be:

[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] and [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] (I think this sounds so sophisticated!)
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] and [name_u]Orion[/name_u] (very mythological and the “o” sound connects them too)
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f] and [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
[name_u]Sierra[/name_u] and [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]

Can’t go wrong with any of your options though honestly :).
