Looking for suggestions!

I don’t think I have a real particular style. I like names I think of as British (Alfie, Charlie, Oliver), old classics (James, Theodore, Everett) and artsy/quirky names (Bodhi, Wilder, Rafferty, Indy, Ace, Dutch, Boone, Huck, Dempsey, Patch, Banjo, Moss) and tons of others but those seem like the big categories for me, I think. I am just looking for suggestions of other boys names that may fit in one of these categories, that may not have crossed our minds yet.

ETA: I think the favorites for me that I like best are the quirky and British feel names, so maybe some names that are a combination of those? Or one or the other?

[name]Keaton[/name] is on our list, actually! I’ve never been a fan of [name]Holden[/name], though I see its merits. I just don’t like the word factor (holdin’!) Maybe that’s odd, I’m not sure, it’s just all I think of. [name]Earl[/name] is too hick/backwoods for me. [name]Aldous[/name] is nice, but a bit much maybe. I do kind of like [name]Oscar[/name], thanks!

[name]Oliver[/name] is on our list (love love love it, easily my favorite boy name but my husband isn’t a fan) and [name]Beau[/name] ([name]Bo[/name], actually) is for a nickname for our choice of [name]Bodhi[/name]. I like [name]Francis[/name] a lot, it has a lot of personal significance for both my husband and I, but he isn’t into it still. Boo. I’ve loved [name]Jesse[/name] for a long time, I still do, but it feels dated to me now.

Hello, I believe I recognize your screen name from another site…can I ask If your baby boy is already here and hasn’t been given a name yet? If you’re the one I’m thinking of I hope you can find more help on this site and less drama :wink: I haven’t been on the other site recently so I have no idea how things turned out over there but I know I did see a cute picture of the little guy :slight_smile:
That being said, I think there are some great suggestions so far…nameberry has great taste in my opinion and they’re my go to name site. Hopefully some new interesting names are brought to light for you.

L: I am one and the same, yes, and no name yet. We are taking our time, getting to know him, hoping just the right name will show up soon. Thank you for the kindness. Yes, too much drama there. I haven’t been there in some time either. I will make the announcement there when the day comes, out of respect for the women who were helpful along the way, but I don’t participate much there anymore.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I really like quite a few of them, with a few already on our list, but still nothing is quite right.
