looking for thoughts on Ivy, Alexandra, etc...

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] - Looking for some input on baby #2’s name.
[name_f]My[/name_f] first daughters name is [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].
We’re finding it difficult to name baby #2- obviously want it to work well with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and don’t want it to be common.

We are toying with [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], [name_f]Eveline[/name_f] and [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]… any thoughts on these?
any other suggestions?

thanks!!!

None of those sound horrible, I probably like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] the best with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] (beautiful name!)… [name_f]Eveline[/name_f] would be very pretty too if you like the E & E combo…

Suggestions:
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] or [name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is very cute [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. [name_m]Both[/name_m] names are familiar / established but uncommon. [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is pretty but also quite common – at least from my experience – if you want to stay away from that so my next favorite on your list is [name_f]Eveline[/name_f], though I prefer [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] always makes me think of harlot, sadly. What about [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] or [name_f]Margot[/name_f]?

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] are both lovely, and both go really well with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] or [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] would be my choices. Harlowe seems to contemporary for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], and I’m not a fan if the [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Eveline[/name_f] combo.
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] - very cutesy, girly names, I think I little girls in a garden playing tea party- it’s a cute image!
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] - feminine names, but more classy in my opinion, regal is the word that comes to mind

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] would be my choices as well. They work with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] perfectly. [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] or [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] would even be a lovely combo!

I really like [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. They are lovely together.

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] are very regal together, even though [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] has always been a bit too much for me. Not too much name (length-wise), but too much of all the good qualities that you could possibly have in a name that it makes it hard to find other names to complement it (if that makes any sense whatsoever).

[name_f]Eveline[/name_f] is nice, but I’m not feeling it with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].

Not a fan of [name_f]Harlow[/name_f].

As for other suggestions:

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Estella[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Greta[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Helen[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Melanie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Mallory[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Honor[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is defiantly my favorite with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], they go together great! I like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], but it is rather common. Have you considered [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f]? [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] are perfect together! [name_f]Eveline[/name_f] is pretty but you would most likely run into pronunciation issues, is it ee-va-leen? ee-va-line? eh-va-leen? eh-va-line? [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]? or [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]? (yes I realize people also have differing pronunciations for [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], but the first half of the name has a standard pronunciation atleast) [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] feels like a completely different style than [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] to me. Other names that go well with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] imo are
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
[name_f]Hadassah[/name_f]
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] are my favorites with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].

In my opinion the only one that fits [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]'s style is [name_f]Eveline[/name_f], however, they might be too matched/similar.
Then [name_f]Ivy[/name_f].
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] and [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] sound more than mismatched to me, the former sharing the same sound in the beginning.

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_f]Maia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_f]Leonora[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] & [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]

are names that I’d pair with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] (which is a super gorgeous name and one of my personal favourites).

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] & [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] are precious together!
