I’m second guessing our current girl name and looking for new suggestions. I’ve searched high and low and am having a really hard time falling in love with anything. My only real requirement is that it preferably does not end in “a” and that it sounds good with [name]Celia[/name] (our first daughter’s name).
Some names that we like but are not using for one reason or another are: [name]Elodie[/name], [name]Vivian[/name], [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Josephine[/name], [name]Aveline[/name], [name]Annora[/name], [name]Georgia[/name]. Hopefully that gives you an idea of our taste. Our current girl choice is [name]Georgia[/name] but I can’t get past it being a “place name” and I’m hoping to avoid both girls having “ia” ending names since it seems a little “matchy” to me. I’m hoping to bump [name]Georgia[/name] to the middle name spot and find a different first name. I would like something uncommon and “vintage” but easy to spell and pronounce, something recognizable like [name]Celia[/name]. Thanks for your help!
[name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Margaret[/name] ([name]Marguerite[/name]), [name]Dora[/name]/[name]Cora[/name], [name]Sybil[/name]. Have you thought about changing the ending of [name]Georgia[/name]? Maybe [name]Georgina[/name]? [name]Georgiana[/name]? That could help take care of the “ia” problem.
I like the idea of [name]Genevieve[/name]. What about [name]Alice[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Penelope[/name], [name]Felicity[/name], [name]Annabel[/name], [name]Olive[/name], [name]Lillian[/name], [name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Clementine[/name], [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Phoebe[/name], [name]Tess[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], or [name]Eleanor[/name]? I think those are all lovely with the mn [name]Georgia[/name].
