We are looking for help in narrowing down our list of names…which has taken us months to get to! Our son is due in a couple of months, so we still have some time…but I would love to get some feedback on our choices:
I like all your options, with the exception of [name_m]Landon[/name_m] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. I’ve just never liked either name. Of the rest, I would rank them as follows:
Here is my feedback on your name list. My faves are bolded.
[name_m]Gavin[/name_m] [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] - I like [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] but this combo blends into each other (Gavinellis) [name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Marius[/name_m] - my favourite combo. Strong and handsome [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] - I love the spunky [name_m]Leo[/name_m]. [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] is ok and I’m happy to see it used for a boy!
[name_m]Javi[/name_m] [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] - [name_m]Javi[/name_m] sounds like a nickname for the coffee and computer language [name_f]Java[/name_f]. I’m not a fan. [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] is pretty cool.
[name_m]Landon[/name_m] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] - trendy and predicable. There are probably many boys with this combo running around. [name_u]Auden[/name_u] Romare - interesting mix of literary surname and a romantic sounding mn. I think it works.
My favorite is [name_m]Landon[/name_m] [name_m]Cole[/name_m]. Very handsome name. Second favorite would be [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]. [name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] would tie it for first.
In order from favorite to least favorite with the other names would be - [name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Marius[/name_m], [name_m]Gavin[/name_m] [name_u]Ellis[/name_u], [name_u]Auden[/name_u] Romare, and [name_m]Javi[/name_m] [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Marius[/name_m]!
After that my favourites would be [name_u]Auden[/name_u] Romare then [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u].
I like [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] but [name_m]Javi[/name_m] is nms.
I like your combinations - they’re very cool! I would place them as follows:
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] - Really up-to-date, yet seems classic. No problems with pronunciation. A really good combo!
[name_m]Luke[/name_m] [name_m]Marius[/name_m] - This one seems strong and has a bit of both [name_m]Rome[/name_m] and a biblical reference - I like it!
[name_u]Auden[/name_u] Romare - I think this works - it’s unique, and the names flow well.
[name_m]Javi[/name_m] [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] - [name_m]How[/name_m] are you pronouncing [name_m]Javi[/name_m]? I think it seems like a nickname, but it’s pretty cool.
[name_m]Gavin[/name_m] [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] - [name_u]Mischa[/name_u]'s right on this one - it runs into one a bit.
[name_m]Landon[/name_m] [name_m]Cole[/name_m] - The odd one out in your list I think - not as individual as your other combos.
