- [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] would fit well with all of those names, especially [name_f]Judith[/name_f], [name_f]Christine[/name_f], and [name_f]Alice[/name_f].
I may be a bit biased considering that my middle name is [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]. I have always loved the name and will possibly use it for a future daughter as a middle name.
Bump, please
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] is very pretty. I like [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f], and I think it makes a really beautiful middle name. I also like it as a first name. I think it would age well. [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] would also work, actually.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it would be weird to have [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] & [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] (middle name) on my girls list? - not at all, I have [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]/[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] and [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]/[name_f]Hettie[/name_f], [name_f]Nettie[/name_f] and [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], it’s fine to do that.

Out of these middle names, which one(s) would you pair with [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]; [name_f]Judith[/name_f], [name_f]Gertrude[/name_f], [name_f]Christine[/name_f], [name_f]Anita[/name_f], & [name_f]Alice[/name_f] - I really like [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Anita[/name_f], second favourite would be [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. Would you be willing to use a variant, like [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Christina[/name_f]/[name_f]Christiana[/name_f]?
I like [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f], and it it can be seen on a child, teen, and adult women. [name_f]My[/name_f] sister-in-law is 14 and her name [name_f]Kendra[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f], named after her grandmother. I met [name_f]Kendra[/name_f] when she was nine, so I can say that I CAN see it on a child, teen, and woman. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps. Also, [name_f]My[/name_f] Aunt’s name is [name_f]Alice[/name_f].
- Not at all!
- 7.5. A gorgeous name! On my “like” list. Although I prefer the spelling [name_f]Laraine[/name_f].
- This name ages very well.
- [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the sound of it!
Rating, 1. It’s a very harsh and to my ears ugly name. It was my husband’s grandmother’s name so it always was on our name list but only as a middle name. It’s our son’s middle name, works great for a boy middle name.
- No, I don’t think that’s weird. List are for playing around with pairings and combinations anyways.

- I think [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] ages well, and it also has really cute nicknames! ([name_f]Lori[/name_f], [name_u]Rain[/name_u], [name_u]Ray[/name_u], Riri)
- [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f] or [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Anita[/name_f] sounds okay, but neither are my style. As a sidenote: I think [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] and [name_f]Judith[/name_f] would make a great sibset!
- Not strange at all.
- 8.5 it’s on my mn list, but would love to see someone use it as a fn!
- yes, I can!
- I like [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Judith[/name_f].
- Nope, I have a combo list, a fn list and a mn list and there are tonnes of repeats on both. I also think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] is very pretty. However I think I’ve said this before, it does remind me of Alsace-[name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] the [name_m]French[/name_m]/[name_m]German[/name_m] territory. I don’t think it’s a horrible connection though.
- It’s not really my style, so although I appreciate it as a name I would say 6ish.
- I would automatically assume she was 30+ but if I met a baby/child/teen [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] I would totally find it charming. I know a baby [name_f]Eileen[/name_f] which I thought was unusual at first but she fits it totally.
- I like them all, [name_f]Gertrude[/name_f] is one of my favourite in the middle but I prefer it paired with something more ‘up to date’ ([name_f]Amabel[/name_f] [name_f]Gertrude[/name_f] was on your list before, I loved that). [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is probably my favourite. I like [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Judith[/name_f] too.
I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] is a nice combo, but I’ve never been of [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]. [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] is the name of my Aunty who is in who mid 40’s and it’s hard for me to imagine the name on a sweet little girl. The name always makes me think of quiche lorraine too.
[name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] is a completely feminine name. It doesnt work great as a boys name, middle or not. [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] is NOT a boys name. Never has been and never will be.
1.Not in the slightest! I have a couple situations like that going on as well.
2. Solid seven.
3. For sure.
4. [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Anita[/name_f].
I’m just going to be honest. It is nothing personal.
1) [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it would be weird to have [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] & [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] (middle name) on my girls list? On your list it would be okay but I wouldn’t actually use the name for both children.
2) Rate [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] on a scale from 1-10. 2
3) Can you see [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] as a baby, child, teen, and grown woman? Yes but not very good imagery.
4) Out of these middle names, which one(s) would you pair with [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]; [name_f]Judith[/name_f], [name_f]Gertrude[/name_f], [name_f]Christine[/name_f], [name_f]Anita[/name_f], & [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. [name_f]Anita[/name_f] and [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] are both as dated as each other so they fit together.
-
Not on your list but in when naming children it would seem like you’re naming one child after the other which could lead to some serious sibling rivalry or one girl feeling like she has to be just as good at everything as the other.
-
It’s a 2 for me. There are worse names but [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] is just not my cup of tea, at all.
-
I can only see [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] as a middle aged women, 50+. It sounds too dated (but not yet vintage) for a child or young adult.
-
[name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Judith[/name_f] or [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] (even though I much prefer it the other way around).
You didnt understand the first question…
I asked if it would be weird to have both on my favorites list. Not naming two daughters that
I did reread it and changed it two seconds later.
Oh, haha. Sorry I didnt read that.
