In order of preference:
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f]
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]
Based purely off the sound alone, my favourite combo is [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]/[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. Well, I like [name_f]Louise[/name_f] best with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], and [name_f]Belle[/name_f] best with [name_f]Lottie[/name_f], but I figure any time the middle name would be used it would be a formal situation like graduation or a resumé where she would be [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and not [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Renee[/name_f] in general, sorry.
No need to be sorry! I am very sentimental and close to my family, which is why I would consider these names. Thank you for your input. I think some people end up going by their nickname more than others. My friend [name_u]Allie[/name_u] is [name_u]Allie[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f], not [name_u]Allison[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f], so I think it is just something to consider. In our family we use first and middle names together a lot when addressing one another for fun or as a way to show fondness.
@rachelkathleen- Oh cool, I’ve never known anyone to use both their first and middle name. My family and a lot of our social circle are [name_f]Asian[/name_f] so a lot of the people I know don’t have middles at all. I’m pretty sure no one remembers my middle name except me, my parents, and my sister (I think she does, anyway). I’d actually love to be addressed by my first and middle, but it’d be 5 syllables so probably too long for most people
@bonfireazalea- I remember many a time as a child where my mom would shout “[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f]!!!” to call me to come to dinner, etc. I would say it is used fondly or to get our attention… thanks for sharing. I love middle names and made sure to include EVERYONE’S in our wedding programs! HA! Including “[name_f]Betty[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]” the aunt I am referring to who led a song.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is my husband’s favorite… especially considering it is after his mom…only trouble his he has a little cousin named [name_f]Charlee[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. She is named after a different [name_f]Louise[/name_f], I just hate to have it be so close so idk.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is just gorgeous! [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is turning into one of my favorite names…it’s soft, feminine, and not too common, but classic. It is close to your cousins name, but so is the first. If you don’t see them often, go for it! The kinds might even think it’s cool there names are similar.
I believe that everyone else will disagree with me, but with the last name Gross, I’ll avoid [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is french for beautiful, but it also sounds like bell. [name_u]Bell[/name_u] gross make two word (sounding) names and also don’t have the best flow.
I voted [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f], btw.
Yes, [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlee[/name_f] are close names already, so then to add the same middle name… not sure. I do not think they would be upset, it is just more me not wanting the same name as someone else I think more than anything! I am not interested in changing [name_f]Louise[/name_f] to a variant of the name, so I may either just get over it or save it for another name combo… but I know you can’t always count on that! haha… A big concern with [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] B. Gross also… do not like that idea for teasing reasons!!!
