Which do you prefer and why?
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f]! It’s the most ageless to me, and I’m drawn to the feminity of Ls, oos and ees.
I prefer [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. I think it’s a classy, grown-up with a profession sort of a name with the cutesy nickname [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] for when she’s younger.
I like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Lou[/name_u] is adorable) and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] (sleek and feminine). I respect [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] as a name, but as much as I try to like it I just don’t love the sound.
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. It makes me think of an adorable toddler from the 1820s. Very timeless and sweet.
Gosh this is really hard. I think I’d have to go with [name_m]Louis[/name_m] as well. I second everything the posters above said^^^. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is a close second, and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is just not my personal taste but it fits nicely with the other two names. [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f] & [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] would be an amazing sister-set!! Although [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is my favorite, it also works very nicely in the middle name spot ie/ [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]…
I like [name_f]Louise[/name_f] but not [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. I dislike [name_f]Margot[/name_f] but I like [name_f]Daphne[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f], and I really like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. I just can’t bring myself to like the way [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] sounds. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] are so beautiful and timeless, [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is harsh and stuck in the 70’s for me.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]. I might consider spelling it [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] or [name_f]Margo[/name_f] because my german family would pronounce the t at the end. But I love this… I think it’s very chic and just awkward enough to be awkward in a cool and spunky way.
I like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] a lot but it feels like it’s going to just jump in popularity. Probably doesn’t help that I know a [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], a [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], and Lucianna, and a [name_m]Lucian[/name_m] all under 5. (Also 2 adult [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]'s, a [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and 2 [name_m]Louis[/name_m]).
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] isn’t quite my style… also it makes me think of daffy.
In order: [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f].
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is one of my absolute favorite names. It gets a lot of hate and snark, but I find it so sweet and charming. I love that it is familiar enough that people know how to pronounce it and spell it without much trouble, but uncommon enough that she’d probably be the only [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] in her class. FI and I go back and forth on names all the time, but we always, always come back to [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and it will probably be the name we choose for our daughter.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is a close second from your list. I find [name_f]Margot[/name_f] so wonderful. I wish I could get my FI on board with [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but he does not like it at all.
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is, again, in a close third. I just love how vintage, sweet, and charming [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] sounds. It is much lighter than [name_f]Louise[/name_f], which can be a little dowdy at times. I think [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] are such a lovely, lovely set all together.
This is tough because I love them all. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] wins out very narrowly for me. I like how it’s familiar to a lot of people, while still being uncommon enough. [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is a close second.
In order I like:
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
I like all 3.
I agree with a prev. poster that [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is a great MN though. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is gorgeous.
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]!
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] gets my vote. [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] would be gorgeous if you haven’t decided on a middle name yet.
I really like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. Second would be [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], which sounds a little sassy but sweet at the same time. I am not a big fan of [name_f]Margot[/name_f] because the r and g sounds combine to make a hard sound to me, but I think it is an alright choice.
Oh man I’ve consisted all three of these.I’m going to say [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is my favorite.
Oh wow, this is hard. I think they are all fabulous. In fact, they would be a divine sister set! The flow with the last name might be a big factor for me when choosing between these. I really can’t pick. They all bring something different to the table.
I prefer [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] or [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] because I love -a ending names and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] because I love mythology, story behind it and sound of it.
