[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]! ^^
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t like the emphasised wheeze ending of [name_f]Louise[/name_f].
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] always seemed a little try-hard and unnecessary to me. They’re also a go-to nameberry pick, the different-but-not-too-much, please-all choice, a little too expected as far as uncommon names go.
(Being a hypocrite like the rest of the world, my long list has Aloïsa and [name_f]Aloisia[/name_f] But I would choose [name_m]Aloysius[/name_m] for a boy over either of them…)
ETA:
Might be because I’m Norwegian, but I don’t pronounce Eloise and Eloisa with a -lu- sound. They both have a distinctive -lo- sound like Lola.
I pronounce them with a sound that’s something between lu- and lo-. More lo-ish than [name_f]Louise[/name_f] but less lo-ish than [name_f]Lola[/name_f], if that makes sense.
I absolutely [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. It is gorgeous. In order of preference [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f], [name_f]Louise[/name_f], then [name_u]Eloise[/name_u].
I love [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]! Very pretty!
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] has it all. Sweet, refined, elegant, underused.
[name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] is my favorite, with [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] as a close second, I think! It seems they flip flop by the day, but [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f] tugged at my heart when I first saw your poll. I love the nn [name_f]Lola[/name_f] for all of them.
