You get [name]Louisa[/name], [name]Lulu[/name], [name]Ana[/name], and [name]Isi[/name] as nicknames from it.

I don’t care for place names for children, but for me, [name]Louisiana[/name] presents pronounciation problems as well.
I’ve heard it pronounced lew-ee-zee-an-a and lew-wee-zee-an-a and lew-zee-an-a.

I actually kind of like it, better than [name]Louisa[/name] by itself (which I know is a big hit on nb). I think it is totally usable as long as you were careful not to use a word name in the middle… otherwise it becomes descriptive and geographical ([name]Louisiana[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Louisiana[/name] [name]Summer[/name]).
Likewise you’d have to be aware that a lot of girl names rhyme with it, so you don’t end up with [name]Diana[/name] [name]Louisiana[/name]. =]
I personally really love [name]Louisiana[/name], if I were more gutsy, I might use it myself. I think it’s adorable and offers a slew of nn options
