Lourdes and....?

I adore the name [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f], as it’s quite unique imo, and it has a bit of a hauntingly beautiful quality to me? I think of grand cathedrals and churches with beautiful stained glass windows when I think of [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f]

However, I can’t think of a sister name that pairs well with [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f]?

I like [name_f]Rebekah[/name_f], [name_f]Hosanna[/name_f] and [name_f]Miracle[/name_f] with her, but I’m not sure if they work, as they’re quite different vibes for me?

What is your favourite sister name to my beloved [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f]? I’d likely shorten it to [name_f]Lola[/name_f] if we have her a nickname!

As I can only have 20 options in a poll, I’ve omitted [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Faith[/name_f], [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] and [name_f]Leah[/name_f], as [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] and [name_f]Leah[/name_f] are too similar imo and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Faith[/name_f] really seem overshadowed to me by [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f].

Thanks!

[name_f]Lourdes[/name_f] and [name_f]Galilee[/name_f] would be gorgeous together! They’re both flourishing and international. There are some on the list that I may like better as names, but I picked only the ones that clicked best with [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f] (flowing, romantic, softer sounds)

I think [name_u]Jordyn[/name_u] and [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f] might be kind of cute.

My favourite would be [name_f]Selah[/name_f] and [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f]. [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f] feels very obviously non-[name_f]English[/name_f] to me, so I like it paired with an equally interesting, slightly foreign sounding name.

What about [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f] and [name_f]Mireya[/name_f]? (means miracle but is a better name IMO)

I do like [name_f]Mireya[/name_f], but I don’t think I love it as much as [name_f]Mariah[/name_f] or [name_f]Miracle[/name_f]?

Mariah is a sweet name too. Hard for me to wrap my mind around [name_f]Miracle[/name_f] as a name, but that’s just me.

I can see why you’d feel that way, I’m still about a year or so away from having kids, so I can’t say for certain I’d use [name_f]Miracle[/name_f], but I have loved it for the last decade or so (mostly in secret because I was scared of public opinion ), so it might stick around! I do know of one in my area though so it makes it a bit usable for me  my area’s not exactly shy when it comes to more obscure Biblical/Christian related names :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, my impossible fantasy is to know one of every name, so go for it!

I love [name_f]Selah[/name_f]! Google [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f], [name_f]France[/name_f]. Such a magical little town. You’ve probably seen it. Has its own cathedral :heart_eyes_cat:

Selah and [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f] feel really special together.
