Love Elizabeth… not too gone on the intuitive nicknames

Thank you!!
[name_m]Reading[/name_m] these responses, it’s been reassuring to me that a nickname like [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] can be used if enforced and some of the more desirable ones aren’t inevitable
And same, I love [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] in full- funnily, most of the Elizabeth’s I know somehow keep their full name. [name_f]My[/name_f] real name gets shortened very intuitively so I’m always worried about undesirable nicknames.

[name_f]My[/name_f] middle name is [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] sister nicknamed me [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] and my dad [name_f]Lizzy[/name_f] [name_f]Bizzy[/name_f]. I love both. And then I have that one aunt who calls me straight [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. She’s the only person who does. I also adore [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], [name_f]Zibby[/name_f], [name_f]Libby[/name_f] and [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]. And for what it’s worth, I have a variation of [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] as my first name and I’ve only had to ask someone not to call me “Cathy” a couple of times. I think you can get away with avoiding [name_f]Liz[/name_f] and [name_f]Beth[/name_f]. Especially, if you let them know an alternative NN that you prefer, like I use “Cat” .

That’s really cool! Thank you
I love Kate as a nn for Katherine - Cat is really cute too!

Also Elsie Beth is adorable :joy:
