I like Leocadia! I think sheās one of my favourite female Leo- names. I also like Leonora, Leontine and Leona. Itās a Latin name I believe but it gives me old British folklore vibes. I could imagine a Leocadia in an Arthurian inspired setting.
There are lots of nickname ideas. Leo is the obvious one, in the same vein as other long, feminine names with more masculine nicknames (e.g. Josephine āJoeyā or Francesca āFrankieā). You could also turn this into Lee / Leigh / Lea / Lia.
Other ideas -
Cadie / Katie / Kate (depending on your accent, theyāre different for me but I know a lot of North American accents pronounce them the same)
Lucky
Lucy
Dia
Dahlia
Lily
Addy / Addie
Elle
(I like stretchy nicknames so some of these might seem a bit of a stretch to others)
I usually like to pair longer names with shorter middles, so maybe something like
Leocadia June
Leocadia Maeve
Leocadia Mabel
Leocadia Nell
Leocadia Ruby
Leocadia Hazel
Leocadia Sybil
Leocadia Violet
Leocadia Mary
I love [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f]. I find her elegant, strong (those consonant sounds) a bit āmedieval warrior queenā! Some middles i like are: [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] [name_f]Nel[/name_f] (seconding @cosyghost[name_f][/name_f] ) [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] Estelline [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] [name_m]Wren[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] [name_f]Midori[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] [name_f]Roselil[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
I think my favourite nn for her would be [name_f]Cadie[/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f]Going super stretchy maybe Lady/Ladybug? On a child I think this is super sweet. (One of my sisters went to school with a girl named Ladybird!) [name_f][/name_f]Sibling ideas for [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f]: [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Aurelian[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Marceline[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Sylvian[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Wolfram[/name_m] (leocadia, āleoā and wolfram āwolfieā [name_f][/name_f] ) [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Kelso[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Sholto[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_f]Cadie[/name_f] make most sense as nicknames. Polish nicknames for [name_f]Leokadia[/name_f] (leh-aw-KAD-ya) are Leosia (leh-AW-sha) and Lodzia (LAW-ja) [name_f][/name_f]- I canāt say I enjoy either of them.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Leocadia[/name_f], [name_m]Francisco[/name_m] [name_m]Javier[/name_m], and [name_f]Imelda[/name_f].
Iāve always been fond of [name_f]Lea[/name_f] and [name_f]Cadie[/name_f] (like Katie) for her. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Coco[/name_f] would be fun too!
[name_f][/name_f]
Iām not sure about siblings, I feel like sheād need siblings with long and dramatic names, maybe like [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], [name_m]Archimedes[/name_m], [name_m]Tarquin[/name_m], [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m], [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f], [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f], [name_f]Violetta[/name_f], [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], [name_f]Marilla[/name_f], [name_f]Mariel[/name_f], [name_f]Clementia[/name_f]?
