[name_u]Luca[/name_u] is the name I keep hearing over and over in my head, for either a boy of a girl actually. I didn’t expect to love it that much because I usually don’t think about gender swapping names. What is your honest opinion of the name [name_u]Luca[/name_u] used for a female? And I’d like your opinions on my middle name ideas too…

Boy -

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]

We like the middle names we have but would love suggestions, we like names that have meanings tied to being a fighter, a warrior of some kind, maybe even a rebel (The [name_m]Luke[/name_m] thought all started w/ Cool Hand [name_m]Luke[/name_m] which is all about [name_m]Paul[/name_m] [name_m]Newman[/name_m] being an unbreakable rebel))

Our last name is T;yy:ska , pronounced two-skuh

not sure I love [name_u]Luca[/name_u] with your last name but if you love it thats what matters

I like the name [name_u]Luca[/name_u], more for a boy, but I can see how some might perceive it as feminine. However, after reading that it rhymes with your last name, I don’t think it’s the best choice. To answer your question about the middles, I prefer [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_u]Dean[/name_u]. [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is super cute for a girl.

I feel [name_u]Luca[/name_u] is far too rhymey with your surname but out of the middle name options I like [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] [name_u]Dean[/name_u] the most. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though the only [name_u]Luca[/name_u] I know is a girl I always see it as a boys name

I agree that it’s not the best fit with your surname, but if you don’t mind the rhyminess then I do think [name_u]Luca[/name_u] is a beautiful name! I prefer it for a boy, but it’s a well-used girls’ name in some countries, like Hungary, so it doesn’t feel like blatant “gender-swapping” to me!

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Benedict[/name_m] and [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] are both absolutely stunning combos - just my style!

I’m neutral on [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] for a girl - it’s nowhere near as interesting as your boys’ combos to me, but it’s not a bad combo.

Oh my little girl is [name_u]Luca[/name_u]! And we had considered [name_f]Joy[/name_f] as a middle after my Mum! But decided against it as we thought it didn’t flow so well with our one syllable last name…

I love [name_u]Luca[/name_u] for a boy but I don’t care for it paired with your surname unfortunately. It’s too rhymey. However, out for your combinations, my favourite is [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Zachary[/name_m]. That’s a very handsome combination.

I do not like [name_u]Luca[/name_u] for a girl. It’s all boy in my opinion.
