WDYT of [name]Luca[/name]? I used to hate but now I love it!! It seems so chic, stylish and handsome What would you pair it with? Can you seen [name]Dean[/name] and [name]Luca[/name] being brothers? Also does it come across as feminine to you? I donāt see it at all but apparently [name]Jennie[/name] [name]Garth[/name] named her daughter [name]Luca[/name].
I like it!
I think [name]Dean[/name] and [name]Luca[/name] sound really good together! I agree with you, it is both handsome and stylish. It isnāt in the least bit feminine to my ear, I really donāt understand people calling daughters [name]Luca[/name], to me itās like calling a daughter [name]William[/name].
I really like it! Canāt say I see it as feminine in the least; itās too handsome to be a girlās name.
[name]Love[/name] it. Canāt quite see it with [name]Dean[/name], but they donāt work against each other.
Canāt see it on a girl either.
I love [name]Luca[/name]! I think it sounds great with [name]Dean[/name]. I can see how it might have potential for a girl but it sounds better on boy! Since [name]Hilary[/name] [name]Duff[/name] just named her son this I would say the trend leans more towards boy now anyways
I like [name]Luca[/name]! I think itās a little feminine, and I can see it on a girl, but not en masse. I donāt think itās great with [name]Dean[/name], but they donāt clash.
[name]Dean[/name] and [name]Luca[/name] go great together! [name]Luca[/name] is not feminine in the least and as to celebrities, they are generally NOT!!! a good example to follow in naming your children.
This exactly!
I am the same as you. Used to hate it now I love it. Would use it for a boy- but my brotherās name is [name]Luke[/name] and my cousin named her baby [name]Lucas[/name] called ālukeā and it is too much of the same thing to add to my family!
I love [name]Luca[/name] and always think of it as a very masculine name. I donāt think it works very well with [name]Dean[/name], I think it works with other Italian names such as [name]Rocco[/name] or [name]Enzo[/name] or other names that are well known in Europe: [name]Hugo[/name], [name]Adrian[/name], [name]Sebastian[/name], [name]Felix[/name], etc.
I love [name]Luca[/name] and [name]Dean[/name], both very handsome and strong names.
I donāt find it feminine. I like [name]Luca[/name] quite a bit, but I do think [name]Dean[/name] & [name]Luca[/name] are a bit mismatched.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Love[/name] [name]Love[/name] it!!!
[name]Luca[/name] is my favourite name for a boy and has been for some time. I donāt see how it sounds feminineā¦but then again I also find overly masculine names (that invoke the image of beer drinking, swearing, spitting, aggressive āmanlyā men) to be unattractive.
[name]Luca[/name] makes me think of someone sensitive, strong, caring, fun-loving, intelligent; attributes men are so often socialised out of these days in fear of being seen as a sissy (which is ridiculous of course).
There is a list somewhere on here called āSofter Sounding Boys Namesā, which I canāt find for the life of me now! [name]Luca[/name] is on it, and there are lots of suggestions for similar names!
[name]Luca[/name], pronounced ālu-kahā is a boys name. In some cultures, they have [name]Luca[/name], pronounced like ā[name]Lucia[/name]ā without the āiā, as a girls name.
I really do love [name]Luca[/name] for a boy though
I really like [name]Luca[/name] but I know like, 8 guys named [name]Luca[/name].
[name]Dean[/name] & [name]Luca[/name] are strange together, though, for me. All the [name]Lucas[/name] I know are from [name]Italy[/name], and [name]Dean[/name] is definitely not Italian, so the mix seems strange.
[name]Luca[/name] is not feminine at all, unless youāre using the Hungarian or Croatian version and pronouncing it differently than [name]Luca[/name]-the-boy-name.
[name]Love[/name] love love the name [name]Luca[/name]. Not feminine in the slightest. Strong, sophisticated, traditional with a twist. My biggest pet-peeve is people naming their girls with a boy name! [name]Luca[/name] is NOT a girlās name! Since [name]Luca[/name] is an Italian/Eastern European name, I donāt love the name with [name]Dean[/name]. I see on your list below your post the name [name]Dominic[/name]ā¦[name]Luca[/name] and [name]Dominic[/name] would be a great pair!
