Lucas or Luciano?

Which of these two do you like and why? [name]Both[/name] can have [name]Luke[/name] as a NN. We are not fans of [name]Luca[/name], sorry

I think [name]Luciano[/name] is handsome especially if you are Italian or have some Italian heritage. If not then it might sound a little “too Italian”. I hope that doesn’t come across the wrong way.

I’m personally a fan of [name]Lucas[/name]. But if you have Italian heritage, [name]Luciano[/name] is a lovely choice.

Well, I really like [name]Luciano[/name] and I think it is a pleasant surprise compared to the more popular [name]Lucas[/name].

I definitely prefer [name]Luciano[/name] (and [name]Lucien[/name] and [name]Lucius[/name]), but [name]Lucas[/name] is a really nice name too. Plus, [name]Luciano[/name] (and [name]Lucien[/name] and [name]Lucius[/name]) have much more meaningful meanings. Plus they are more unique, but still very straightforward and clear. Plus, since you have Italian heritage, makes it even more of a great choice.

I had to sit on it for a minute, but I think I definitely prefer Luciano! I agree that it’s more surprising and fresh than Lucas. They’re both nice names, though.

I agree with [name]Ottilie[/name], [name]Luciano[/name] is so cool! If you have italian heritage then it’s just a bonus I like [name]Lucas[/name] too but [name]Luciano[/name] is awesome

This is exactly what I thought, so I was thrilled to see that you have Italian heritage. In that case, definitely [name]Luciano[/name]!!! Can’t even explain how much I love that name. I would love to meet a little [name]Luciano[/name]. I also love the possibility of the casual nickname Looch (I’m not sure how it would be spelled – [name]Luc[/name] maybe – but I wanted to spell it the way I was thinking it so you knew what I meant). Something just seems unique and cool about it.
