[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] or [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]? Which works better as a middle name for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]?
Thanks!
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] or [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]? Which works better as a middle name for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]?
Thanks!
I love [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] and don’t care for [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is kinda cute, too.
I love [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]! [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] gets my vote.
Which pronunciation are you using for [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]? If it’s loo-she-uh, then yes it’s my pick, but if it’s loo-sha, not so much. I personally do not like [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], but it can work with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] much better. I’m obviously super biased in favour of [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], but [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] is really not my cup of tea at all.
I really love [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]! It’s so beautiful. I know [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] gets a lot of love from some, but I’ve never understood the appeal. I think [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]'s lovely–but then again, I’ve considered [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] myself (technically, [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]!), so that definitely gets my vote. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] is nice, but I like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] way more.
Good luck!
I like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] better.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]! I love it in Spanish (loo-see-uh) and Italian (loo-chee-uh) form; not so much the English (loo-shuh). [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] is just not pretty to me at all.
I prefer [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] (any pronunciation, but I tend to say loo-see-uh myself) to [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] as well - I associate the name [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] with [name_f]Cinderella[/name_f]'s evil stepsister! (In [name_m]Stephen[/name_m] Sondheim’s Into the Woods, they’re called [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] and [name_f]Florinda[/name_f]).
