I would advice to search for maybe etymological roots or related names that aren’t as known. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if it’s a fantasy, the name is too well known, I don’t think the reader would be able to separate it from those connotations. You can also play a little with it, change letters here and there, spoonerisms? [name_f]Do[/name_f] whatever you think is best for your story.

Thanks for your answer! And yeah that is what I fear, mostly. I thought it could be interesting to have a character named [name_m]Lucifer[/name_m] because I know how he’s gonna be. I have him all planed out in my head and the clash between what the name [name_m]Lucifer[/name_m] means to us and what I want him to represent would have been interesting but still… I think I’m gonna search for a new name
