Hey name berries! just wondering on your opinion whether you prefer [name]Lucille[/name] or [name]Lucinda[/name]? how are these name different to you, do they give different vibes, or different images when you hear them? im honoring [name]Lucille[/name] ball but since she was mainly called lucy i figured lucille or lucinda could work.
Id prefer to call her by her full name and not just nn [name]Lucy[/name] for i think lucille and lucinda sound a little more substantial.
I like the way [name]Lucille[/name] looks written, but almost prefer the way [name]Lucinda[/name] sounds…
anyway i need your help!
I prefer [name]Lucinda[/name]. I think it rinks quirky and vintage and lovely. [name]Lucille[/name] is still a little too old lady and “loose seal” (Arrested Development, anyone?) for me. I mean, in the grand scheme of names, I think [name]Lucille[/name] is a good and reasonable one, but [name]Lucinda[/name] charms me and [name]Lucille[/name] doesn’t really.
i MUCH prefer [name]Lucille[/name]! I think of [name]Lucille[/name] as (like you said) [name]Lucille[/name] Ball! When I hear [name]Lucinda[/name] I think [name]CINDY[/name]… and I am not a fan at all of [name]CINDY[/name]…
Other options to get lucy could be [name]Lucilla[/name], [name]Lucienne[/name], [name]Lucia[/name]
I prefer [name]Lucinda[/name], [name]Lucrecia[/name] or [name]Lucilla[/name]. I don’t care for the “seal” sound in [name]Lucille[/name], and I think that the three I mentioned sound softer and more sophisticated.
I like [name]Lucinda[/name] more than [name]Lucille[/name], because of a particularly aggravating country song that gets stuck in my head when I hear [name]Lucille[/name].
But I like [name]Lucilla[/name] a lot. I really like -cilla as a sound, more than [name]Cinda[/name] (though [name]Cinda[/name] is okay) and especially more than [name]Cindy[/name]. [name]Lucilla[/name] might beat [name]Lucinda[/name].
[name]Lucille[/name] is beautiful, timeless, feminine, and sharp. It has beauty, brains, and a bit of sass. [name]Lucinda[/name] sounds more like an evil witch’s name, dark, mysterious, and old. It encompasses a kind of scary feel. I have a clear favorite, which is [name]Lucille[/name].
[name]Lucille[/name] is my favorite! I like the look and sound of [name]Lucille[/name]. I don’t mind [name]Lucinda[/name] ( I do love the potential nn [name]Indie[/name]) but I prefer [name]Lucille[/name]!
I like both, but the edge goes to [name]Lucinda[/name]. It has a honky-tonk vibe ([name]Lucinda[/name] [name]Williams[/name]), a literary vibe ([name]Oscar[/name] and [name]Lucinda[/name]), and avoids the seal problem.
