Thoughts on the name [name_m]Luckson[/name_m]? It’s definitely a new name for me. I personally don’t mind the nicknames [name_u]Lucky[/name_u] or [name_u]Luca[/name_u] but was wondering how the name came off in general? Does it sound too made up?
If you do like it what could be some possible mn combos?

To me it does sound a bit made up. It sounds like the parents are trying too hard to be different while still having that trendy “last name as a first name” feeling. It makes me think of Luxor, which I would actually prefer as a first name.
[name_m]Luckson[/name_m] sounds made-up. It’s almost like the parents are trying to be trendy, but went way too far. I think [name_m]Luke[/name_m] and [name_u]Luca[/name_u] are perfectly fine names. You don’t need [name_m]Luckson[/name_m]. If you like [name_m]Luckson[/name_m], why not use [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] [name_u]Luca[/name_u]?
Yeesh. I agree with the other posters in that it sounds made up (not in a good way). Also, I immediately think of one really bad nickname that’s bound to haunt him. F&*Kson.
Adding -son to the end of a word does not make it a name.
It sounds made up and I just don’t like the idea of naming a kid “lucky” it’s kind of odd…
I clicked on the thread expecting to dislike [name_m]Luckson[/name_m], but in the three seconds it took the page to load it had already grown on me. I think it does sound made up, but all names were made up at some point so I don’t really see why that matters.
