Okay so I’m not even pregnant but I am gonna try this year. My son is Milo Alfred Van Cleve. His middle name is after my dad. If we had a boy, I love Louis aka Louie- also love George (very royal family of me Jack and Oscar.
For a girl, my top names are Lucy, Rose, Iris, June, Willa, Mae, Tess, Georgia. But I think for right now i love Lucy and Rose best. If I had twin girls, I’d like Lucy Clementine and Rose Adeline (rose for my husband’s grandmother and Adeline for my grandmother for which my mom Adele was named)
So I guess I’m just in the mood to talk baby names but wondering other peoples opinions of what sounds best with Milo (not that I think it matters am too much but I do love when the names flow together- I’ve love Milo and Lucy for a while together) and also w our last name
In this case, I prefer [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] as it has the same high-energy, lilting sound as [name_m]Milo[/name_m]. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is lovely as well, but a bit more serious. Both sound great with your last name, though!
Of your other options, I also like [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_f]June[/name_f], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f], and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] with [name_m]Milo[/name_m].
I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] but I like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] a bit more with [name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] are absolutely gorgeous and you can’t go wrong with either
While [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is my favorite out of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f], I think [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] flow better and I like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] better than [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. So overall [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_m]Van[/name_m] [name_m]Cleve[/name_m] is my top pick. Out of your other choices I like [name_f]Tess[/name_f]. And [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] or [name_f]Tess[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] sounds nice as well.
I love the alteration of Milo and Mae. I like Mae as well as Lucy, rose and Iris. I feel like I haven’t heard Lucy as a name as much as rose or Iris. But I do love floral names for babies because it gives off another sense of beauty they hold. Rose is a pretty name, I kind of feel drawn to Lucy. Milo and Lucy I think just sound so sweet together.
And Lucy has the Lou sound as would your boy name of Louis
Love Louis for a boy!! I saw a girl name lilou— a play off lily and Louise, I love that it’s more unique and not as common — but it also contains Lou if this would be your last baby and you would like to incorporate Lou/ Louis into it
Maybe you could combine the names into one
Lucia Rose nn lucy or Lucille or make rose the fn and Lucy the mn
[name_f]Lilou[/name_f] is cute! But I love the idea of pairing [name_m]Milo[/name_m] with a classic name. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I both have M names as well and while I do love [name_m]Milo[/name_m] and [name_f]Mae[/name_f] I don’t like the all the same letter thing as much. [name_f]My[/name_f] maiden name begins with an L so I kinda love the idea of my kids’ names beginning with M and L- my initials
