What are your opinions on [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]? Too popular, too boring or a classic?
I’ve known many [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]'s throughout my life and it’s never really appealed to me until lately. [name_m]How[/name_m] many [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]'s do you know? [name_m]How[/name_m] old are they?
Unfortunately, I don’t know any [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]'s. I think the name is very pretty and definitely a classic. I do think it is rising in popularity, but if you love the name I think that can be overlooked, and you could always let her have a proper name such as [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f] or [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and let [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] be the nickname.
I love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]! Defiantly doesn’t feel overly boring or popular to me. It’s a sweet classic. I really don’t know any human Lucys, (just a couple pets) but I wish I did!
I know around four or five [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]'s, all between 16 and 18.
Come to think of it, there are a few others who may be a little younger.
Oh so cute and classic! Great associations - the Beatles, [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] Ball, etc. I personally prefer “fuller” names with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] as a nn but definitely think it could work as a stand alone if nothing else appeals to you.
I don’t know any [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]'s or [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]'s, but I do love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] with or without a “whole” name to attach it to.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is a classic! The only [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] I know is 2, I think. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is on my list but I think I prefer it as a nickname.
Ehm… I know three around my own age. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]'s cute. It’s never boring. I say go for it.
We have a [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and have a second daughter on the way. We are having a heck of a time trying come up with something as good as [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]!
I know one [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] who’s a great woman in her early 60s. She has a huge heart, she’s very funny and outgoing and she’s also a great mother and grandmother. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is a nickname for my mother’s name. She’s in her late 40s and also a great person.
I also know a few [name_m]Lucias[/name_m] and Lucilles.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is a classic and it’ll never be old-fashioned. If you like it, go for it with no doubt.
I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is wonderful! I don’t really “know” a lot of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]'s, but I have met several people that say that is the name that they have chosen for a pregnancy. I don’t think it is overly popular at all.
