Luella Alexandra Plum?

Thoughts on this combo? I’d been having the hardest time with [name_f]Luella[/name_f], but I’ve recently come across [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], which I adore. [name_f]Plum[/name_f] has all sorts of significance, but I just love its charm with [name_f]Luella[/name_f]! I do two middles, though, and [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] felt like she was missing something, so I’ve been playing around with [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f]/[name_f]Plum[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], but they didn’t feel quite right, either. [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] was almost my name, and I have formed quite an attachment to it. Something about [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] just feels right. Does it work, or should I keep looking? I think I might be seeing fireworks, but half the time I feel like I don’t have any common sense when it comes to combos for [name_f]Luella[/name_f].

Thanks, Berries!

Personally, I would just go with [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f]. I don’t feel in needs the third name. If you’re dead set on it I would suggest [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Plum[/name_f]. [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] both end in “a” like [name_f]Luella[/name_f] which makes them almost sing songy. Of course, if you’re head over heals for Leuella [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] then go for it!

Very L heavy. That makes it sound more like a tongue twister rather than a name. I see you have [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] in your signature— what about [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f]? It adds some space between the L’s in [name_f]Luella[/name_f] and [name_f]Plum[/name_f], but still maintains the general length and style of [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f].

I love it (though I’m slightly biased as my name is [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] ”) [name_f]Luella[/name_f] has been growing on me these past few weeks, it sounds southern and luscious especially combined with plum. However [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] adds a little more solid, noble, kind of feel to it

I like [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] a bit better, but [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is nice! I think with [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] I would prefer Luellen to [name_f]Luella[/name_f], but that’s a pretty subtle difference.

I think it’s cute! [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] could work well in place of [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] to get rid of the double a’s.

I prefer [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Plum[/name_f], but I really feel like [name_f]Plum[/name_f] just doesn’t strike me as a girl’s given name. When I saw your post before reading I thought [name_f]Plum[/name_f] was the surname and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] was the only middle name. This sounds a little harsh but [name_f]Plum[/name_f] does give me the connotation of an overweight character in a book, like the chef at a castle maybe. But of course, very few people ever hear a person’s middle name so I don’t think she would get teased much about a middle name.

Oh I really like the person above me’s suggestion of [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_f]Plum[/name_f]. Stemming from that, I also like [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f].

I prefer simply [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f]. As someone with two middles (one is my Mom’s maiden name), it is more often than not a hassle.

I also have to say that I prefer just [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f]. Adding [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], while a pretty name, really is a tongue twister and makes the name super L heavy. Not only does it sound singsongy with the names ending the same, but it’s difficult to go from [name_f]LuellA[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]…with the A’s right next to each other. I agree with the above poster about two middles being more of a hassle (I have run into the same thing over and over and over again) but if you like two middles, I think [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] flows much better. I still would try to find a name to pair it with that had a different ending than a and didn’t have any Ls.

I actually like the flow. It’s quite lovely, imo.

If you are set on doing two middles, I would say go with [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. But honestly, I think it sounds better without the second middle. [name_f]Luella[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f] is a really cute name all by itself!

[name_f]Plum[/name_f] doesn’t g

At first, I was amazed by this combo. Of course, on the second thought, it is a little bit of tongue twister with all that L’s, but… It’s so lovely I don’t see a problem. I don’t mind the double A sound at the end, either.
I don’t see it working with [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]… Something about that Y is bothering me. [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], on the other hand, flow very good, almost as good as [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f].
Anyway, really great name combo, in my opinion. Go for it! ^^
