After months of swapping back and forth between [name]Maggie[/name] and [name]Luisa[/name] as a name for our daughter (due next month) we have decided (I think) to go with [name]Luisa[/name] as a nod to my Spanish grandmothers family. We like [name]Lulu[/name] for short and already have a [name]Frankie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] so are trying to avoid the ‘ie’ at the end of our second daughters name.
Middle names we are stuck on at the moment are [name]Wren[/name] or [name]Paige[/name]? Thoughts, help and suggestions welcomed!
Thanks in advance
Ps Olive is our other choice, oops baby brain made me forget
I love [name]Luisa[/name] (and though I prefer the [name]Louisa[/name] spelling, if it honors your heratige/grandmother, it doesn’t matter) and I think [name]Wren[/name] would be a great middle name. [name]Paige[/name] is too 1990’s-2000’s for me, and it brings [name]Luisa[/name] down.
A quick question- is [name]Frankie[/name] short for [name]Francesca[/name]? [name]Just[/name] wondering.
[name]Frankie[/name] is her full first name, my dad is [name]Frank[/name] and he is ever so proud of his namesake (he has only daughters and granddaughters) we’ve had negative looks/comments on the choice but we like it and it suits her beautifully she is very girly/pretty with curls and big eyes she is also a very happy, bubbly and cheeky little thing we have had lots of positive comments too. As a teacher I find naming difficult, we like things that are uncommon, traditional and not made up 30’s-50’s era. Thanks again.
[name]Frankie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Lulu[/name] [name]Paige[/name] are a match made in heaven for me! I love your older daughters name!
I like [name]Paige[/name], while it may have had a moment in the 90s/00s…I still like the sound of it quite a bit. I dont like [name]Wren[/name] as much as most people on here do…and while [name]Luisa[/name] [name]Wren[/name] works, [name]Lulu[/name] [name]Wren[/name] runs together when I say it out loud.
[name]Frankie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Lulu[/name] [name]Eve[/name], [name]Luisa[/name] [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Frankie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Lulu[/name] [name]Gray[/name], [name]Luisa[/name] [name]Gray[/name]
[name]Frankie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Lulu[/name] [name]Kate[/name], [name]Luisa[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Frankie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Lulu[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Luisa[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Frankie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Lulu[/name] [name]Sage[/name], [name]Luisa[/name] [name]Sage[/name]
I strongly prefer [name]Luisa[/name] [name]Wren[/name]. We are also pretty set on [name]Louisa[/name] (sp. differently but pronounced the same by me!) and would use [name]Wren[/name] ourselves if it didn’t clash with our last name. It is absolutely stunning and much more unique, in my opinion, than [name]Paige[/name]. I have known several Paiges in life so the name is sort of cheapened to me. I’ve only recently (since looking on name berry) seen the name [name]Wren[/name] used, but have been loving it! It is lovely without being made up, uncommon but familiar. [name]Frankie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is a little bit sassy, and [name]Luisa[/name] [name]Paige[/name] would just be too plain in my opinion!
[name]Frankie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Luisa[/name] [name]Wren[/name] go perfectly in my opinion. A similar, antique/feminine/sassy vibe without being at all matchy-matchy!
As for nicknames, I don’t get why someone would try to make [name]LuLu[/name] go with [name]Wren[/name]. The point of a nickname is to shorten the first name, not to be used with the middle name! [name]Just[/name] my opinion though!
I would prefer you “[name]Luisa[/name] [name]Wren[/name]” It’s a perfect name and very easy to speak with good sound. You should use it for your baby and [name]Olive[/name] [name]Wren[/name] is also good.
