We love the name [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] ([name_m]Luke[/name_m]) but our last name is [name_u]Walker[/name_u]. Is it totally unusable?
I did immediately think of [name_m]Luke[/name_m] Skywalker but I donât think itâs unusable at all. Itâs a cool reference and kind said wonât immediately think of [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars. [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_u]Walker[/name_u] has a nice ring to it.
It took me a minute to figure out why you were askingâI didnât see the connection immediately. I think itâs fine! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] and [name_m]Luke[/name_m].
I think itâs fine! [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_u]Walker[/name_u] especially separates it from [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars and i think the fact [name_m]Luke[/name_m] and [name_u]Walker[/name_u] are both fairly familiar means it works
Thank you for your opinions!
I thought of [name_m]Luke[/name_m] Skywalker immediately, and I donât even like [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars.
Itâs not a dealbreaker but I think itâd be annoying to have people go like âOh, like [name_m]Luke[/name_m] Skywalker!â every time you introduced yourself. What about [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], [name_m]Leo[/name_m], or [name_m]Alec[/name_m].
Yes, we would do [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] as the full name. However, I know weâd end up calling him [name_m]Luke[/name_m].
I definitely thought of [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars. However, a little boy would probably love that association, and itâs not like itâs so overpowering that he will dislike it as an adult
