Lux or Lydia

Which do you like better?

[name_f]Lux[/name_f] Or [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] for a little girl? Middle name [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] most likely. All my children’s names start with L

[name_f]Lux[/name_f] is a bit bizarre. I know someone with this last name. I love [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], but not the combo of [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Lux[/name_f] would be nice.

As a combo, I prefer [name_f]Lux[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. But a name itself, [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is easier…

[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] by a mile.

To my mind [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is a beautiful, classic name, with spunk and charisma. [name_f]Lux[/name_f] is a bizarre trendy name, that will seem dated almost instantly. It also to my ears sounds like some kind of chemical company or laxative. [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is graceful, [name_f]Lux[/name_f] tries to hard. I also find the meaning of [name_f]Lux[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] to be a bit repetitive. Of course it’s your baby, and you will know her best, and what she should be called.

Good luck and congratulations!

Definitely [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]. [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] has a timeless and classic feel that I love. [name_f]Lux[/name_f] has always sounded a bit trashy and odd to me.

I agree with the others. [name_f]Lux[/name_f] is right up there with Bling as a great name option in my book.

[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is a classic and sounds fine with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
