I am at a stand still with my dh. He adores willow faye and I love lydia faye. We both like both the names but we can’t pick one. What are your opinions?
I prefer [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f], but I’m not a big fan of [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] sorry.
I prefer [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] but both are nice.
Have you considered waiting until she is born and seeing if one name seems to fit her more than the other?
I prefer [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. I love the strength behind [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], it feels more substantial along with the sweet but slightly mysterious and whimsical [name_f]Faye[/name_f].
Both are gorgeous, I really can’t decide which one I like better. If it comes down to it and you really can’t decide, I agree with @kc121317 and just wait to see which name fits her better.

I agree that you might just decide to wait and see which fits best, though.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] would be my usual preference, but I am really loving the bouncier [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] with [name_f]Faye[/name_f]!
But I also agree that waiting to decide would be a great option. Or, if you are looking for a middle ground between the two names, I would suggest [name_f]Liana[/name_f], [name_f]Liora[/name_f], [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f], and [name_f]Winola[/name_f].
Oh, another option would be to do a double middle name ~ [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]? That way, you could call her [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Willow[/name_f] by far! [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] seems dated to me, like [name_f]Linda[/name_f].
This was so hard, both names are gorgeous. But, I’ll have to go with [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. I second the suggestion of waiting until you meet her to decide which name suits her better.
They’re both great names! I think this is just one of those things you & your husband will have to decide on. My friend & her husband both had a different favorite while naming their son & they ended up picking a completely different name that they both liked & were willing to compromise on.
I would say [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is a more classic/old fashioned name, and [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is a more modern, trendy kind of name. I usually love the -ia names, but in this case for some reason I like [name_f]Willow[/name_f]. At least you have 2 options that you both like!
Interestingly I prefer [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] although generally I’m not a huge fan of the name [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]. I just thinks it flows very nicely. Both are very nice though, so whatever you go with she’ll have a pretty name!
If I had to choose… I prefer [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. For me, [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] sounds really quite flowery and too much in nature because [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is a tree and [name_f]Faye[/name_f] just sounds really flowery [name_f]Hope[/name_f] you find a nice choice!
Hard one, id say i like [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though its not my favorite nature name…its the better of the two!
