Lydia Jean Adeline

Our third child, (first daughter) is due in three weeks, and we had settled on [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] for her name. However, I’ve been contemplating adding [name]Jean[/name] or [name]Jeanne[/name] (I like this spelling better) in the middle, because my grandmother’s name was [name]Jean[/name], who died [name]March[/name] of last year and we were very close. I’m curious to know people’s opinions on [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jean[/name] [name]Adeline[/name], or [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jeanne[/name] [name]Adeline[/name], or if there are other suggestions (maybe something besides [name]Adeline[/name] at the end). I’ve thought about just [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jean[/name], but don’t care for it, because it sounds a lot like my mother’s name [name]Linda[/name] [name]Jean[/name]. I love how [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] sounds by itself. I keep going back and forth. Thanks in advance for your help!

I’d just like to say that is such a beautiful name you have decided on. I love [name]Lydia[/name] it’s absolutley gorgeous & on my own list aswell it flows really well with both [name]Jean[/name] (prefered spelling) & [name]Adeline[/name]. [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jean[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] is adorable, such a great combonation. I’d also suggest [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Iris[/name] or [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jean[/name] [name]Iris[/name]. It has such a beautiful meaning & sounds so beautiful. I’d just say talk to OH & see what he thinks. Either way, no matter what you choose she will definitley have a beautiful name.

Thank you so much! Makes me feel better about our choice. DH loves both [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Adeline[/name], and [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jean[/name] [name]Adeline[/name], so it’s my call. [name]Iris[/name] is a lovely suggestion as well!

I love [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Adeline[/name]! [name]How[/name] gorgeous. Would you consider [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Jean[/name]/[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Jeanne[/name]? I think that looks much prettier, personally.

[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jean[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] is a lovely combo and a wonderful way to honor someone who meant a lot to you. [name]Both[/name] [name]Lydia[/name] and [name]Adeline[/name] are 3-syllables so I think [name]Jean[/name] in the middle helps the combo flow more smoothly.

I like the look of [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jean[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] the best. I think [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jeanne[/name] would be fine by itself, but it gets a little long with [name]Adeline[/name] on there too. Best of luck!

I would stick with [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Adeline[/name].

[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jean[/name] [name]Adeline[/name] is great! I prefer [name]Jean[/name] spelling. I think the [name]Jeanne[/name] spelling looks a bit much for the double mn, but you should do what you like best…since its in the middle, it’s not a huge deal. I agree that [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jean[/name] by itself lacks something, and [name]Adeline[/name] brings the whole name a modern/classic feel that I love.
