I voted for [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] but I prefer the spelling [name_f]Lila[/name_f].

If it was an option, I would pick [name_f]Lila[/name_f]

I prefer the [name_f]Lila[/name_f] spelling.

Definitely [name_f]Lila[/name_f], but of those two, [name_f]Lilah[/name_f]

I prefer [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] if the pronunciation you are going for is “LYE-luh,” but [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] if you are looking for “[name_u]LEE[/name_u]-luh.”

[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] looks clearer to me; [name_f]Lila[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] both look like they could be either pronunciation, and I don’t like the ambiguity.

Like others have said, I voted for [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] but I prefer [name_f]Lila[/name_f].

I think this definitely depends on what pronounciation you are going for. I actually read [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] as LYE-lah, and [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] as [name_f]Lil[/name_f]’-ah. I didn’t even consider [name_u]LEE[/name_u]-lah as a possibility, but when I saw PP mention it I became even more confused.

I prefer [name_f]Lila[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] has a beautiful sound to it, and it’s very visually pleasing!

I also prefer the [name_f]Lila[/name_f] spelling but [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] isn’t bad either

I have a [name_f]Lilah[/name_f].
I didn’t choose [name_f]Lila[/name_f] because I didn’t want people calling her [name_u]Lee[/name_u] la and I love lilacs.

Out of the two, I vote for [name_f]Lilah[/name_f].

If I could have my pick, I’d choose [name_f]Laila[/name_f] actually (even if others might pronounce it [name_m]Lay[/name_m]-la).

Thank you everyone for voting!
I think I should have been more clear with the pronounciation I was looking for.
It would be pronounced as " lye-la" . The lady with the little girl lilah - has anyone miss pronounced this? I’m afraid lila would get " lil-a "

Thank you all!!!

Like this, but exaclty the other way around for me.

I usually get it pronounced properly but I’m in [name_m]Quebec[/name_m] so there is no long I sound in [name_m]French[/name_m]. Intuitively [name_m]French[/name_m] speaking people say Li-la not ly-la.
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] is a diminutive of [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] and looks like lilac - I’m not sure why anyone pronounces it otherwise.

I prefer [name_f]Lilah[/name_f]/[name_f]Lila[/name_f] with the mn [name_f]Claire[/name_f]

[name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
