[name_m]Just[/name_m] wondering, which do you like best and why?
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] or [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]
Thank you!
[name_m]Just[/name_m] wondering, which do you like best and why?
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] or [name_f]Lyla[/name_f]
Thank you!
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f]. I don’t like the look of [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] - I’d spell it [name_f]Laila[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f].
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] or Lira.
I do not like [name_f]Lyla[/name_f], [name_f]Layla[/name_f], [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] type names.
I like the sort of magical, starry feel of [name_f]Lyra[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f]
so magical!! and like someone else mentioned, i’m not a big fan of the [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] spelling looks-wise – but if it were [name_f]Lila[/name_f] we were talking about i’d have a much more difficult time choosing, but i still think the majestic [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] would be my winner
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f]
so sweet, spunky and fresh. She feels much more versatile and I love this spelling!
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f]. [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] is my least favorite way to spell Lila/Lilah and I like the sharp R sound.
[name_f]Beautiful[/name_f] starry spunky [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] sounds too babyish to me
Both are lovely
But my favourite is [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] she’s so starry
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f], mostly because I hear so many of the double-L names–Lyla, [name_f]Layla[/name_f], [name_f]Leila[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], Leelyn, and the myriad spelling variations. [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] but overdone.
Lyra’s a long time favourite of mine! Lyla’s lovely, but Lyra’s comes across as cool, feisty, and fun. More adventurous and wild, which is very up my street.
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f],
so much more graceful and interesting. [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] has a nicer origin as well
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f]!
[name_f]Lyla[/name_f]!
