Recently really enjoy these short and interesting names,
Wondering what’s the imagery for [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] and [name_f]Esme[/name_f]?
How would you picture them and which one you prefer?
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] is bright, sharp and starry with an adventurous feel.
[name_f]Esme[/name_f] is stylish, warm and pretty with a subtle elegance .
[name_f]My[/name_f] preference depends on which pronunciations you use.
I’d pick [name_f]Esme[/name_f] first if it’s said Ez-may.
If it’s said Ez-mee, then I’d pick [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] (so long as it’s said lie-ruh)
If [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] is said leer-uh, then I’d pick Ez-mee over that

I’d pronounce [name_f]Esme[/name_f] as Ez-mee and [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] as Lie-ruh

[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] + [name_f]Esme[/name_f] are beautiful 
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] is such a magical celestial name that sounds starry and stylish. [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] makes me smile.
[name_f]Esme[/name_f] feels elegant, romantic and has a pretty European flair. [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is also very fashionable and for me eats into that ballet core aesthetic.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_f]Esme[/name_f]!
I like [name_f]Esme[/name_f] best but prefer the Ez-may pronunciation. [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] is also very fun and energetic. Both are great options and would make lovely sisters. 
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] reminds me of the book series His [name_m]Dark[/name_m] Materials!
I do feel like they would be sisters, feels like they’re in the same category but slightly different color palettes if that makes any kind of sense.

[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] gets my vote today. I love the mythological, the space/universe and musical connections. [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] is sweet, unique and melodic.
[name_f]Esme[/name_f] is more traditional. A very beautiful and gentle name. Esme’s meaning is adorable and powerful!
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] - stars, eternity, space.
[name_f]Esme[/name_f] - green, forest.
I prefer the correct [name_m]French[/name_m] spelling [name_f]Esmée[/name_f], but [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is okay too.
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] is my favorite.
