Thoughts on the names you’ve listed:
[name_f]Maya[/name_f]-A lovely name, easy to say and spell, though there may be some confusion as to whether it’s said “may-uh” or “my-uh”. I personally would say it “my-uh”, but I think it could work for both pronounciations. definitely classic and pretty, and not too high in terms of popularity.
[name_f]Madelyn[/name_f]-I love [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], but I can’t stand [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f]. It just isn’t a spelling that works for me. Maybe using a more classic spelling could be a way to get around the popularity factor a little?
[name_f]Mila[/name_f]-I am instantly confused as to whether it’s pronunced me-la or my-la? I think me-la is a little more intutive, but again, both pronounciations could work. I also immediately think of the actress [name_f]Mila[/name_f] Kunis, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but I think it is a connotation other people may draw, how would you feel about that?
[name_f]Myla[/name_f]-If you’re going for the my-la pronounciation of [name_f]Mila[/name_f] this could be an easier way to get there. Having said that I really don’t love this name, it lacks the classic vibe that you say you’re going for and feels a bit made up. Not a fan.
[name_f]Mara[/name_f]-I love [name_f]Mara[/name_f], a nice classy [name_f]Mary[/name_f] variation which is actually really underused in my opinion. It’s a great name, easy to say and spell, instantly recognisable but also a bit different. This one’s a winner for me, definitely my favourite
